**Q: Can you put these laundry baskets in the washing machine?**
A: NO!  it is a plastic type material.  I am sure you could take it outside and use the hose to clean it easily. The only fabric would be the netting at the top of the hamper to hold the laundry inside (if over full).

**Q: Will it stay upright without collapsing on itself?**
A: The hamper comes with 4 braces for the sides and it will stay upright.  However, this hamper
is not a good option for transporting clothes.
