It's a little pricey for a plastic aide but is as advertised. It does have the two sandpaper-like grips on the bottom. It does hold it to the carpet and is especially good on the edge of a Perfect Putt mat or something similar and helps to keep it from skidding but it could easily be knocked off-line on a different surface. It would be helpful if the base was heavier or a different material- perhaps even with a rubber grip base.

Easy to understand and use on the practice green or at home. Builds muscle memory and confidence. Worth the investment.

Helps groove a straight stroke. Seems like a lot of money for a piece of plastic but I've probably lost that much missing putts I should have made :-).

Please give this aid a try. It will give you that Ben Crenshaw arcing stroke. You won't have to worry so much about the path of your putter. See the line, feel the putt, hear the ball plopping into the cup, then stroke along the guide. That's the way to practice with this aid, as if you are on the putting green. Make it a real stroke each time, and you will be delighted at the progress of your putting. You will see more solid, center-struck putts that ROLL beautifully on your chosen line. Now . . . just learn to read greens and you will make a ton of putts.

Works as described

This sia a specific yet important tool. This will not in itself make you a great putter, but it will help you hone you swing path and even tempo/speed. This is the type of device you might use for a morning if you attend a short game school. I really like this rail and get it out from time to time to check and refocus. If you use this just every once in a while, you will improve.

Purchased the Eyeline Edge putting mirror earlier. The putting plane is a good addition. Simple but, works. Trains a steady consistent stroke. The new material is light and has a grippy attachment below that keeps it from moving when using on carpet. Had a good deal on it so, pulled the trigger. Was previously a bit pricey for me.

Nice but expensive 🤗
