Will this work with Community fiber which I have just had installed, thanks?

Hi there, Google Wifi operates as a Wi-Fi mesh system and is compatible with most Internet service provider (ISP) modems. To set up Google Wifi, you'll need an Ethernet connection from your ISP modem to the primary Google Wifi Point. If you're using a modem/router combination device, it's advisable to disable the Wi-Fi functionality of the combo or set it to Bridge mode to avoid Double NAT, which can lead to connectivity issues. Please keep in mind that it's strongly recommended to use Google Wifi exclusively in the country of purchase. This is important to ensure optimal performance and compatibility, as there can be variations in local restrictions and standards that may affect the device's functionality. If you require further guidance or have any questions about Google Wifi, please don't hesitate to reach out to our support team for assistance here: https://support.google.com/googlenest/gethelp

Does it work with skys dhcp option 61 protocol?

Hi there, unfortunately, this feature isn't supported at the moment.

Does this work on its own without an internet service provider?

No. Nest Wifi Pro needs to be connected directly to your modem to get an internet connection from your Internet Service Provider (ISP). You can connect it directly to your modem with the Ethernet cable to set it up and broadcast your Wi-Fi network. Take a look at this link for the setup requirements and guide on how to set up: https://support.google.com/googlenest/answer/9548301

how many devices can these handle being connected?

Each Nest Wifi Pro router can handle up to 100 connected devices. For more info, check tech specs here: https://support.google.com/googlenest/answer/6280668
