Nordic Ware Tombstone Cakelet Pan

Bought this and skull cake forms for my granddaughters at Halloween. They were delighted with them. Almost better treat than chocolate! These may be more expensive than similar pans but the quality is excellent— heavy-duty & will last for years. I have had Nordic mini-Bundt pans for over a decade that bake evenly & still look like new. These are similar weight, leading to a consistently good bake.

This pan is so amazing. It's got such a nice feel, good and sturdy. Easy to use, and we used Crisco and flour and everything came out perfectly. I am in love! We made blueberry muffins first. It has a huge capacity (used two of the bag mixes) but the detail was spectacular and the pan cleaned up so easily.

Quality product. A little labor intensive to use but once you get the hang of it it was really fun. My son and his wife and I made them for their adult halloween party and people "raved about them" (taste wise and the look) according to them. I would definitely make them again. The only recommendation I would have after making these is that you definitely don't need as much pastry as it says in the recipes on line. Otherwise there's just too much dough. Also be sure to butter the mold before each bake with a pastry brush. We also buttered the tops a little after they were out of the oven.

This is the 3rd baking pan I've bought from Nordic Ware. Yes, all Halloween themed bake ware. So far, I have no complaints at all! I'm a very happy man. 20 years ago things like this were only novelty, if it worked the one time, you were lucky! So imagine my surprise at the durability of this bake ware! They are so easy to clean, there's no need to even ask if they are dishwasher safe (although the are.) You can simply quickly hand wash them as easy as rinsing them to put in the dishwasher. So far I've only made pizza puffs a few times but the shape is awesomely fun. All of my friends have asked how I did it. So many possibilities of things to make using these pans! I love them for everything, but what I bought them for. They are great for soap, chocolates, and cakes. They’re just really not kind to bath bomb/shower steamers. The mixture sticks so much it’s dang near impossible to get them out with out really beating it against something solid. This, in turn causes damage to my bathing products I purchased it to make. I still love it though. Easy to clean. Sturdy as can be. Great design. I just wish I could figure out a less violent way to extract my creations.

I love the Nordic Ware Cakelet pans. I have three now, and they all work great. Be sure to spray some baking spray in them and take care when washing. The little nooks and crannies in the designs can be hard to get all the little bits out of. I had wash - I don't put them in the dishwasher. I don't have any idea if they are even okay to put in a dishwasher, I just want them to last a long time, so I don't. Cakes come out great. Heat distribution is fantastic. Fabulous pans.

Great product. Gives impressive detail on cakes yet easy to turn out. Bakeware is really solid too.

Excellent quality pan, will last a life time if properly cared for. Yes, you have to grease and flour the pan well, but with a pastry brush it doesn't take long. Heads up, the darker the cake (chocolate, pumpkin, etc) the harder it is to see the details. But if you make a lighter colored cake (vanilla) the easier it is to see the details.
