Good remote control for Sharp TV's

Extra large CC capabilities.
I ordered this because I inherited a large tv that is not smart. After some confusion with the instructions, I finally figured it out and now it works great. My deaf son was thrilled to see that it has extra large close caption capabilities. Much better than my old tv or what is included in Xbox. If you have a hearing impaired family member, this one is for you.

Great replacement.
I have a Sharp TV that's a few years old, and quite a few of the buttons on the remote quit working. For some reason, I couldn't disassemble it to fix it, so I went hunting on Amazon for a replacement. And here it is, for less than $8 bucks. Put batteries in it, and all the buttons work and my Sharp TV is back to full functionality. Wonderful. 5 stars.

Received these as promised by Amazon, dropped in the batteries (not included which is exactly what Amazon stated) and I am back to channel surfing. 100% satisfied! Helpful hint - if you ever need to test a remote put your smartphone in "night mode" or equivalent, what that will do is activate it's IR camera. Go to a slightly darkened room, point the LED on the remote towards the phone's lenses and press any button. You should see the LED light up. If it doesn't try replacing the batteries, if that doesn't work it's time for a new remote - ALSO to make sure your phone has an IR camera grab a remote that you know is working and verify that you can see the LED light up on a button press. It works
It worked. All that I had to do was just put in the batteries , no codes to type in no programming at all. I just needed the model number, Here's what happened I bought a remote from best buy and I was told to just type in the codes and that one of them would work. None of them worked, so I called to complain. And the agent helped I gave her the model number, and she gave me the # of the remote that I needed. They didn't carry that particular remote. Thanks to her ,And to Amazon for ending frustrating search
