I purchased these to keep my rugs from sliding in my bathroom. They failed to stick to the back of my rug. They stick to my ceramic tile on the bathroom floor but not the rug. Review: Love these! - I have a long rug on a laminate floor in my entryway. I have a small Great Dane (85 lbs) that skids to the door whenever someone knocks. These keep my rug in place even with her sliding on it. They can be washed and will become sticky again, but I have had to replace them once after having them for at least a year. They work so well that I don’t mind having to replace them when they stop working!

Not great for runners but works for area rugs
These do stick down on the tile floor very well but the problem is they keep coming off the back of the rug. The tape used to stick them to the rug seemed very good but it only sticks well to the gripper and not to the rug so they are not working well for runners that see a lot of traffic but do seem to be working well for the big area that is held in place by furniture.

Did not work, two year old pulled out and destroyed immediately
We got these grippers thinking it would keep the throw rug in the living room still on our hardworld floor. The grippers did not keep it in place. Also our two year old immediately pulled them out from under the rug and ripped them apart. They do not work well. Save time and money and just get and under the rug foam mat to hold your rug in place!

Rug doesn’t slip
I used these on my big 8x5 area rug in my living room. They keep the rug from getting pushed up and from sliding which is great! Only giving four stars because there is a sticky tape that has to go on the rug or else it doesn’t keep the rug from sliding

DO NOT PERFORM THE MAIN PURPOSE
These suck. They don’t stick to my rug or my floor so they serve no purpose besides a waste of money.

Great for small rugs.
This is great for small (like door mats and entry size) rugs. It holds them in place without residue on our hardwood floors. For larger rugs - say over 4 ft long, you'll need to use more than 4 at the corners. I used some in the middle and along the longer edges, but a different type of gripper such as the Rug Grippers X-PROTECTOR will work better. I ordered these as well and will review them. Since I didn't use all the ones I ordered I tried them on some wooden drawer organizers/inserts that tended to slide a bit when I opened the drawers. Two on the front corners of the bamboo organizers worked great and stopped the sliding.
