It only does when your source is connected via btooth. Why?** A: Not sure I understand your question. Using the Bluetooth linking function you will only be able to play music on both speakers from a Bluetooth source. For non-bluetooth sources you will have to either: a) connect one speaker to the other via an XLR microphone cable from the Mix output of one, to one of the built in mixer inputs on the other. In this scenario, the output will be mono. For Stereo you would have to have a separate mixer feeding its left and right master channels to each of the speakers and your input source would have to be feeding a stereo channel on the mixer or two mono channels, one panned full left and the other full right. If you don't have a copy of User Guide for your speakers you should be able to download one from the manufacturer's web site. **Q: is the price 299 pair?** A: Hi, Alto Pro support here! The Bluetooth connects easily. Plenty of power and I’ve experienced no clipping. It’s a fantastic speaker for the $$. I’ve been using Alto speakers for 10 years, never had any issues. I also use the TS415’s as mains in one of the bands I play in where I do the sound. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ I think it sounds a little better than my EV speaker. *by on Reviewed in the United States August 8, 2026* I just received the Alto TS410 10 inch speaker. For the money, seems like a good speaker. The first thing I did was put it head to head with my EV ELX200-10P 10 inch speaker, which is more than double the cost. It took me a while going back and forth between the two testing the sounds. First, the EV was definitely louder, period. Also, the EV sounded different. I say that because the Alto sounded better. The notes and ranges were more balanced and controlled with the Alto. I then used an external equalizer, which seemed to boost the sound of the Alto to almost match the EV’s volume and the Alto still sounded a little better than the EV. Don’t get me wrong, I love my EVs. They are expensive and solid. They sound really good. With both brands, you need subs, but the Altos sound better without a sub. Can’t wait to get a second one and do my first gig. I’ve been DJing for 12 years and I’ve got the top of the line Electro-Voice ETX-18SP sub. It’s tight. But I also bought a couple of TS 18 in Alto subs. They pound and I’m shocked that they sound soo good. They don’t clip and heat up like the EV sub that would put you in time out too much. This is why I’ve been eyeballing Alto tops. That seem economically the better choice right now. Honestly, trying to go smaller and lighter. I’m looking at 10 in Altos to replace my EV ZLX 15in speakers. The 10 in Altos can do the job. HOPEFULLY, they are as durable as my EVs. Time will tell. Sometimes you get what you pay for. That is my only concern. But, initial impressions are very good for Alto speakers. Hopefully, I can do a follow up after a few years.
