Love it!
The camera was smaller than i expected (about the palm of my hand)- AMAZING photos! Love my camera so much and has amazing quality - I'd say it's definitely value for money and the battery life is also decent. The zoom is really clear and easy to use. Very nice and compact, so easy to travel with, battery did die a little quick after my first use, but i haven’t charged it yet, was just the first time use. great pictures for the price, different settings too, one of the best digitals i own. colour looks a lot nicer and vibrant, like a nice deep cherry red

Quality product
Well made quality product by a household name. I only have one gripe - that it`s a bit too small. especially the on/off button for me as I have large fingers! But hey ho I`ll get used to it I suppose. It`s certainly compact and easy to carry.The picture quality is very good.

Not Charging

Easy to use to get great looking photos
I really did not expect the camera to be as compact as what it actually is. It is very light in weight and can be put into a pocket which is especially great for travel. It has all the functions I would expect in a high end camera but without changeable lenses. I tried various functions with taking photos and am very happy with the end results I received. Adjustments are very easy to go from one setting to another, the zoom is shown extended. I took the photo of the BBQ with flower pot on top the morning after a rain, sun was shining on the cover sand steam coming off of it. I am amazed at the pic taken from inside my house out to the patio actually shows the steam. Battery and camera card is easy to access. I really like that the rechargeable battery can be charged inside the camera by using the included cord without being removed. This will come with me on all my adventures. Wrist strap is nice to have also. You need to purchase your own camera card which I prefer to do anyways.

前々から気になっていたkodakのPIXPRO FZ55。結論から言えば、コンパクトデジタルカメラで1番売れている理由は頷ける。安いコンデジが欲しい人にはおすすめだ。まず筐体は非常に軽量かつコンパクト。これならカバンに放り込んで毎日持ち歩いても、苦にはならないだろう。ネックストラップを使い首から下げて持ち出し、街中で気軽にパシャパシャとスナップ撮影するのも楽しい。デザイン性が良く可愛いので、カメラを構えていたり持っていても仰々しくないのもいい。どこへでも持って行けるので撮影機会が増え、結果的に良いシャッターチャンスに巡り合える可能性が高くなる。どんなに良いカメラを持っていても、持ってきて撮影しなければ意味がないのだ。写りは適度にユルいのだが意外にもちゃんと写るところは好印象。これなら普通に記録や旅行用にも使えそうだ。もちろんそれなりな解像度で、フィルムライクなエモい写真が撮れるのが売りなのだが、いかにもトイカメラで撮りましたというわざとらしさ、あざとさがなくて絶妙な色使いだ。レンズはF3.9-6.3で焦点距離は換算で約28-140mm相当の光学5倍ズーム。スペック的にはやや暗いが、スナップなら必要にして充分だし、なんでも撮影できて使い勝手が良い焦点距離だ。センサーは1/2.3CMOSを搭載。使い方はkodakらしく単純明快。気になると言えば握り方によっては、ストロボに指が被りケラれることと、電源ボタンが遠くて間違えて押しやすい動画ボタンを押しそうになること。配置が逆ならもっと使いやすいとは思う。手ブレ補正はたぶん効いてないのでしっかり構えて撮るか、手ブレも"味"と割り切る必要がある。もちろん推奨しないがガシガシ使ってあちこちぶつけたり、落としたりしてるが今のところ全く動作に問題はない。タフさを全面に押し出しているイメージはないが、チープな見た目に反して意外に堅牢なカメラだ。似た機種に同社のFZ45というものがある。使い勝手で1番の違いは、FZ55が専用のバッテリーパックを使用するのに対して、FZ45は乾電池で稼働することだ。乾電池はどこでも手に入るメリットがあるし、好みは分かれるが私はFZ55がバッテリー設計のおかげでスリムだし、ストロボのチャージも早くて便利だと思う。またFZ45はF値が3.0-6.6とややFZ55より明るく、その代わり光学ズームの倍率が4倍となり、焦点距離は換算で約27-108mm相当になる。レンズのスペックは防塵防滴仕様のWPZ2やその兄妹機であるPENTAX WG1000と全く同じなので、恐らく共通のものだと思う。コンパクトで気軽に持ち出せて、適当に撮るだけで雰囲気のある写真が撮れて、値段も安いPIXPRO FZ55。控えめに言って最高のコンパクトデジタルカメラだ。
