This is a solid sturdy metal Tamper. Its heavy enough that you do not even need to press down. The weight itself is about all you need. With a tiny tap the coffee is very packed. I like the classic design that I want to buy one as a paper weight for my desk

great tamper and a huge upgrade from the plastic one that came with my machine. This accessory is a must have if you are using a home espresso machine that requires tamping. Solid, nice weight and does a perfect tamp every time!

Very heavy construction and a welcome replacement for the plastic one we had
Quality built and has ample weight for packing coffee. We have an Oster Prima Latte and it wasn't easy finding a 51mm tamper that fit this model locally so it was a welcome relief to see how well this one fit when we got it. The one that came with this model was plastic so this was definitely an upgrade from what we had.
