Solid build quality and 2 Year Mfg. Warranty
Feels like a solid build quality. Fairly heavy for its size. The magnet is strong! I have it in the back corner on the opposite end from the filter tube and pointed slight down. Flow across the gravel is good and there is no noise or vibration noticed outside the tank. Very quiet operation.Cheapest wave makers are only about $7. For a couple dollars more, the Hygger Mini Wave Maker seems sturdy and has a 2 year warranty. Might be an upgrade to consider that offers a good value.

An easy mount gentle flow powerhead.
I just needed a gentle flow powerhead to move water around my 90 gal tank. This Mini Wave Maker works great. I love the magnetic mount. It allows me to move it around easily anywhere in tank without old fashioned suction cups which always wear out. Its quiet and efficient and unobtrusive in my tank.

Ceramic shafts are great until you break them 😢
Why did you pick this product vs others?:I bought both sizes of this and the smaller ones are very quiet the medium sized one not so much. The magnet is strong and it puts out good water flow. I just have one problem... I went to clean it and I broke the ceramic shaft in the process. 😢 Is there a way to get replacements?

Great little wavemaker
I added this as a supplemental wavemaker on my 55 Gallon Reef Tank, and I was surprised on how much water this small unit moves. It's small fits perfectly in the corner. Takes up very little space and super easy to install. Would be perfect as a standalone on a nano tank. I have several Hygger products and they have all performed well, are quiet, well-built and reliable.

Purchased 2 and 1 is broke, less an 1 year :(
THIS. Saved my 5-year-old planted tank when surface slime tried to take over. It’s quiet, effective, and I’d buy it again in a heartbeat. The only time I ever hear it is when I need to add some water to my tank, other than that 10/10********Less than a year-ish update: it started making some irritating buzzing sounds. I couldn’t figure out how to contact anyone, so I found the website and sent an email months ago. Never heard back. Life got busy and I had some family emergencies. It’s now gone out entirely. I’m very disappointed in the defective product (which is newer) as the first one I purchased is holding up just fine.

Works great in my 20 gallon tank but is on the strong side. I turn off at night to slow down the current for my corals. Had a year and running strong.
