If you're like me and broke the rollover valve on your tj jeep (mine is 04) and keep being told you need a new tank, try this. I broke the nipple off entirely after having to drop the tank multiple times as my used replacement I had laying around ended up developing a leak while sitting and I thought it was the fitting.. anyway, I thought they'd have a dorman "help" line or a two piece screw in replacement and so I had stupidly broken out the original before realizing I was screwing myself. After ordering a few different ones from Amazon this one fit snugly

Hissss, whooosh, whirrr, pffff, ssssstttss…. Sorry, just venting! I added this to a tank in my kit car because the tank did not have one and would create a lot of vacuum in hot weather. This solved my problem. I drilled a 1-1/4” hole in my tank when it was out of the car and completely empty for a few days. Be careful. Don’t die!
