I have NEVER bought a new desktop; all of my previous new computers were laptops, mostly ACERS, but I did my research when it became clear to me that a desktop would be much better for my requirements, and settled on this one.It's been the smartest purchase I've ever made on Amazon!I LOVE the big screen, easy setup, the quality of the audio, the retractable webcam, etc. However, the wired mouse and keyboard were kind of awkward, so I spent a few bucks and replaced them with a wireless combo, which has vastly improved the versatility of this computer. I highly advise this modification!Overall, I adore this computer and thank Amazon for making it possible to purchase it with their payment platform!

Decent for the price
The media could not be loaded. I was looking for a small desktop to browse the internet and play music. Although this us not a power house of a computer it does the job for basic use. Can't beat the refurbished price.

Absolutely Love it. Its smooth, easy to use. great graphics. The picture is clear and the colors bold. I am a happy camper. Definitely recommend to anyone wanting a desk top computer. HP hasn't failed me yet

Avoid buying
Do not buy. They have these set up to default and stop working after 14 months so you are forced to purchased there extended warranty plan.

Fine, but NO CD/DVD PORT
It's fast and works great but I was very disappointed to find out this does not have a CD port. The previous model did..... Yet this model has a compartment on the side that LOOKS like a CD port. It isn't. It's just empty. Had me fooled. Big bummer. Found out the hard way before movie night. But whatever I guess. Everything else about it is fine.
