The KX-TGD890 connects to Bluetooth audio devices that support HFP (Hands Free Profile), which includes almost all Bluetooth audio devices, such as wireless earbuds, headphones, hearing aids and speakerphones. This system cannot pair with smartphones

Consult the Operating Instructions to turn on Bluetooth (note: the default position is OFF). After enabling Bluetooth, put your device into pairing mode; press and hold the PAIR button on your handset for about 3 seconds and listen for the beep.

How do I ensure the best quality sound from my paired Bluetooth headphones?

For best performance, we recommend using your Bluetooth headphones within 10 feet of the handset. The handset can communicate with Bluetooth headphones within a range of approximately 33 feet with no obstacles in line of sight.
