0414/02 O Wine Tumbler, Set of 6

They look fantastic, but seem like they would be really fragile. I now have 8 of them, and none have broken, despite being washed in the dishwasher. I try to purchase riedel glasses as I have yet to be disappointed, and these meet that standard.

So sleek. Honestly never thought buying drinking glasses would feel this good. I bought the whiskey sized for water since it is larger and makes much more sense. If you want to use the glasses for whiskey, get the water glasses—they are shorter and more appropriately sized.

These are perfect for water/beer. I recommend that you hand wash these to prevent dish washer film spoiling the appearance of the glass.

Chipped right out of the box.

Have used these as every day glasses for years. Like the lightness and modern design but they will chip if handled roughly. Replacements are easy to find and the recent shipper was extremely quick!

Great glass. The feel great in the hand and are more sturdy than they appear. The only downside is that because they are so thin, ice melts quickly, so no really great for something you want to savor over time, but would be fine for something neat that benefits from hand warming. == Update Not 2017 == Still loving these glasses. Just want to emphasize that, as delicate as these glasses look, they are actually quite durable. We have lost a couple, but in circumstances that would have damage any glass (i.e. dropped on tie floor).

Do not be fooled, while crystal is known to be more durable.. I shattered a glass just by dropping an ice cube into it, another one went into the dishwasher in one piece and came out in 4 piece. I would not recommend these to anyone.

I use them as cocktail glasses. They are thin, elegant light and stable. They also accommodate the large ice cubes I love so much!

This glass of Riedel is awsome… I only give one star because the package was damaged, the boxes were not very well packed... sad that they were not packed more carefully from the seller... 1 on 6 is broke
