The O Wine Tumbler Champagne Glass

The glasses look dinky until you get used to them, but they actually hold more than any stemmed flutes that I already had. Nine full ounces (to just below the rim) is a pretty big pour. To the person who who complained that they are too small for mimosas, I say "you must be using too much OJ". The Riedel " O" line not as delicate as their other lines, but still pleasing to drink from and affordable for nice glasses (Photo to compare them to conventional flutes. Schott Zwiesel on left)

An excellent, well-priced way to serve and drink champagne like an adult. Perfectly sized, and far superior to most flutes. What I like: * More stable than flutes. Alcohol and tall/precarious containers of liquid are a bad combination * No stem joint (where many flutes break) * Larger capacity than thin flutes. Small flutes overflow and waste that precious beverage * Brilliant glass shows off the tumbler's contents and photographs well * Curved bowl and narrow opening are ideal for concentrating the delightful scents of a dry bubbly * Glass is a good fit for M to XL hands * Opening is a good size for most adults. Unless you have an enormous head you'll be able to smell what you drink Although these, like all but the most expensive Riedel, are now machine-made, they have the sheen and ring of proper crystal (flick it with a fingernail to hear that resonance). Especially at the price, these are great choice for enthusiasts with a modern aesthetic. Recommended.

I am giving these a 5-star review even though I returned them. I love the Riedl glasses and the concept of stemless quality glassware. However, I wanted to use these for Mimosas for Sunday brunch, and they were just too small for what I needed. I should have checked the capacity more carefully before ordering. Nevertheless.. the glasses themselves were beautiful!!

i hve many Riedel glassware but tend to stay traditional. However I wanted to find something for champagne that would have a stable base when using outdoors or in a movie room. I was a bit skeptical on these so only purchased two. However, after receiving them and using them for several weeks now, they've become one of my favorite glasses for sparkling wine. It is a very stable glass, not easy to tip over, perfect volume and feels really nice in your hand. PS - for all the complaints about the fragile nature of their glassware, indeed you must take care with the handling, I sometime hand wash and other times use the dishwasher, and indeed every now and then I shatter one, but it's the thin glass that GIVES it such elegance. If you want a tough glass, then you'll lose the beauty of these, best to look at it as just the cost of having such beautiful glassware. Highly recommend!

These glasses are the perfect gift for champagne and/or sparkling wine lovers. They're super lightweight and very delicate so extra care is required when washing and putting them away. All in all, lovely!

Great Product. I love these glasses. I had previously purchased stemless champagne glasses that were just plain glass to see if I liked them. Now that I love the concept, I decided to get a more quality type of glass. These Riedel are so beautiful and are great for any beverage. They were shipped fast (prime membership) and they came packaged perfectly so that they would not break, and the glasses were in a box worthy of gift giving.

Although the glass is not as thin as other Riedel glasses, the shape and size is perfect for Champagne. Easy to store in liquor cabinet (ie. doesn't take up lots of height to accommodate long stems). Easy to stack in dishwasher (Again doesn't take up lots of un-necessary height which also risks the long stems to break).

I used these as an engagement gift. I etched them with Armour Etch and it worked beautifully.
