This is an innovative form of magnesium that has been proven to cross the blood brain barrier more easily than other forms of magnesium. As such it is really good for relaxation and mood. I find that it does indeed help me have a sounder sleep. My issues with this product are two fold: it looks unappealing because the contents are somewhat clumped in the capsules. This doesn't inspire confidence, especially since it does contain rice hulls as a filler. The second thing is that upon opening the bottle, there is an unpleasant odor I have never experienced with any magnesium I have ever taken. I just swallow the capsule and it doesn't affect my stomach or digestion, but again - it made me question whether the product is safe to consume! This brand is usually reputable and reliable. I emailed the company and they explained that this indeed is the condition of the supplement. They had no concerns about it whatsoever. I may investigate a different brand of ATA magnesium in the future, but for the time being I am comfortable taking these and I feel it is a helpful form of magnesium for me, especially at bedtime.

I'm not a healthcare professional or expert on supplements. I read an article on ATA Magnesium, and it seems like a really good supplement to take with many neurological benefits. This is the 3rd supplement I ordered from Enzymedica. The first two I loved!! Papaya Gold Enzymes and Papaya Complete Enzymes. So between the great ingredient and company track record, I'm happy to see this supplement. -Safety seals were intact -No adverse tastes, smells, or side effects -Easy to swallow -Very reasonably priced. At the time of my writing, the manufacturer has not disclosed on this site: -Where the supplements are made, if in GMP facility, and if 3rd party testing was done. Took this about an hour before I went to bed. Definitely help to mellow me out so I can get to sleep. I have difficulty getting to sleep and staying to sleep. I also get up to use the restroom often and sometimes have difficulty going back to sleep. Last night I was able to get back to sleep after using the restroom three different times through the night.

I’ve taken several Enzymedica supplements over the years and I trust the brand, and I regularly take magnesium, so I wanted to try Enzymedica’s Magnesium Mind. Enzymedica says its ATA magnesium has increased bioavailability. I’ve been taking it for more than two weeks, and I experienced similar results with magnesium ATA compared to magnesium glycinate and magnesium threonate. I feel calm and relaxed. I like the effects, but the smell is off-putting. It’s a little bit like musty nutritional yeast. The capsule is a normal size and easy to swallow. I took a picture of the capsule next to a quarter for a size reference.
