Had put what I thought was plenty of thread tape on and tightened it down quite a bit, still leaked. Took it off and added a lot more thread tape and tightened it down quite a bit again, no leaks so far after that. Almost seems like the threads are too deep so it won't bottom out on the male threads and seal at the top. Also being plastic it expanded enough that it just needs a ton of thread tape to make up for it. Overall I got it to stop leaking and the thing works, but would probably prefer a stainless valve. Going to add a booster pump and this is the one thing I'm concerned with in the whole system. Just not sure if it will handle the extra pressure. Easy enough to change out if it does leak. Will update either way.

This has been my 5th ball valve for my O.S. water tank and finally has not been leaking or breaking after 3 months. With some others will only last about a week if i'm lucky maybe 2 months.

Fixed the problem

Despite using tons of Teflon tape it still has a slow leak.

Works as intended! Don’t foresee any issues long term use.

No leaks, so thats a good start. Handle turned pretty easily and water shuts off when I need it to. Everything I look for in a nww valve.
