Challenging and confusing at times but good fun
Played this one evening as a family with older teens. Comes in a lovely padlocked box, which you can conceivably keep and use after completion. The documents and objects inside are nicely produced with an air of authenticity. We needed clues to solve some of the puzzles and one of the documents wasn't easy to remove as it was jammed in the bottom of the box. However, overall this was really enjoyable and we'll definitely be doing another from the collection.

Excellent family escape room activity box
Very fun escape room - great packaging and good use of both digital and physical clues. The contents can be packed away again for others to use again.

A boring, underwhelming experience for me
I found this a boring, expensive and just totally underwhelming. I regret buying it, and it was not cheap. A game like this should have a storyline where the clues link strongly to the storyline. Some of the clues later on link poorly to the storyline and break the story flow. The story was also fairly short and the whole thing was quickly over and back in the box. I bought it to give to friends after, but now I won't as they'll just be disappointed We were bored by the end. If you've ever done an escape room, I suspect you might be too.

Good quality, repayable and entertaining but expensive.
I give this product 5 stars based on that it's repayable (by different people). Without swapping this with another group of people the price is too high. We know other people how play similar games and we buy different ones and then swap them, being careful not to mark or damage any if the contents. This isn't always possible as some games require parts to be assembled, written on or torn but it is possible with this set. The game comes in a nice outer box packed with 'straw' and presents a news paper article to get you started with some starter instructions on the lid. Under the straw there is the locked ornate chest containing the main game. My 13 year old son and 5 friends played this and it took them a bit less than the 2 hours they suggest. The boys are used to these games and on the brainy side so they possibly did it quicker than other children of their age. It's suitable for adults but you probably won't find it super challenging. Most of the clues and story line make sense and keep you moving along, possibly with a few tricky or badly thought through parts. The game is enjoyable but the price is clearly very high and largely due to the fancy chest. Given it's repayable I think the cost can be justified.

Very comfortable and easy to use
This really cool looking and idea The mystery agency the Balthazar stone, solve mystery escape room puzzles in a box works as expected with no any errors and it's doing great job I must admit, it's a very fun game for sure, very easy to play with, I mean if you know what you playing with, but I mostly like that it looks like really good solid quality for long time of use. It's recommended for 14+ and for 1-6+ players. I can easily recommended to anyone for this really reasonable price.
