It states that these can be used to convert a Firestone keg to ball and lock, but then states further down that they are not compatible? Clarify plz.

If you want to convert your firestone kegs ( pin lock) to ball lock you can do that. But if u have pinlock disconnects for your beer and co2 lines they wont be compatible with these poppets.

I just recieved these and it would seem I got 2 liquid ones. My kegs are marked in and out will not having the gas one effect use?

The ball locks are colored gray (gas in) and black (liquid out). Each fit on their corresponding posts. You can force the gray on the “out” post but most likely get leaks, both air and liquid. They are slightly diff sizes and I would recommend not doing it.

Can you replace hex 7/8 keg posts on a cornelius co. keg. the thread is the same, but some people say no. had anone tried, what was the problem?

Half good

Purchased these to upgrade 2 pin-lock kegs to ball-lock. Delivery was quick, installation was easy, however one set worked great but the other would not seal the keg. Looks like they would not screw down far enough to make the seal. Had to put the pin-locks back on that keg which seal fine.

Revitalize older kegs

If you have older kegs and no longer trust them holding pressure you should consider these. These things have brought all of my older "fleet" of kegs back in the mix. They are really easy to install and are really good quality.

Nice Replacement Valves, Works Great

Nice replacement part, spring is MUCH stronger than the older smaller springs on corny kegs. Also, threads are the same on beer and gas, which they usually aren't on older kegs. If I have any doubt at all on older kegs, I just replace the whole fixture to be sure. Saves future headaches for a few bucks.
