While full GUI operating system did feel a bit laggy at times, the ubuntu server that runs graphana along with few databases, mqtt servers and a parser have been running flawlessly for almost half a year by now! I had zero down time - VIM1S always restarted internet connection after power loss or router resets and all the services were brought back up on its own and without user interaction. In fact I have not logged in to it for already half a year - the thing just runs on its own, stays cool and does its job! The support for the product feels adequate. I've found plenty of resources on Khadas forums and online to help me set up the server and get those services up and running - and mind you - this was my first time setting up an ubuntu server along with all those processes ! The only thing I did not like was Khadas has no support for Netflix in 4k and the reason I sent it back. If you're not worried about using Netflix then take a chance on one of their SBC. I recommend that anyone who buys this board, not use the Ubuntu image, but the Android one. The Ubuntu image is very slow and sluggish on the media playback, not the board's fault. The Android shows the power, that this will be a great media player. OOWOW makes installing an OS onboard incredibly easy. A great function on the board. The emmc storage is a plus.
