Engaging product. Came very fast. High quality. My kids loved building stuff. So it's a great fun project. Easy instructions. Need carefully assemble the motor.

EDIT: seller sent out a newer model with correct white gear and I can confirm the robot now functions as it should and is a great product for kids to enjoy and experiment with different movements of robots. —————— DO NOT BUY! As mentioned in many reviews already, the white gear isn’t large enough to reach the smaller adjoining cog on the green gear part, therefore can’t connect and the wheels of the robot will never turn. This isn’t user error this is a manufacturing fault and the product shouldn’t be sold. I can only think that other positive reviewers haven’t paid attention to the wheels not spinning and have just let their kids build it and thought the final build looked good. Either this or they received functioning gear boxes. I’ve added an image to show the fault. I’m out of warranty now as it was bought for a Christmas so just wasted money.

Bought for our child's 8th birthday, and he loves it! It isn't too easy, or too difficult, but certainly keeps him engaged and his brain occupied. He often does a little bit each day, and loves to show us the progress he has made on whichever element he has been working on. It can require a small amount of grown-up help, but often just with making sure parts are aligned correctly. With lots of different ways to build, it is a fantastic buy, as it will last them for more than just a few days, as lots of gifts often do!

One star removed as it states on the images that this can be used with a battery as well as solar which is not true. SOLAR ONLY. Also I am missing the tool you are supposed to get with it. Otherwise a very large kit that is quality manufactured and with very clear instructions. Well worth the money still.

Very disappointing. Refunded and re-ordered twice incase the first one was just faulty. My son was so excited for this, however after hours cutting all the pieces out, we realise its just poorly made and the elements of the motor don't connect properly. The white gear doesn't make contact with the green gear. The white gear being the final part of the gears to make the whole thing move. The white gear is either slightly too small or the the small cog on the green gear is to small. Either way it will never function as intended.Also the up and down travel in the green gear means that even if it did work it would of had intermittent disconnect from the red gear. Overall poor quality. We are getting a second refund and will give up on this company.

Great educational toy with lots of variety. The 12 different models keep kids engaged and help develop problem-solving skills. Instructions are mostly clear, though some parts can be a bit fiddly and may need adult help. Build quality is decent for the price. Overall, a fun and worthwhile STEM kit for kids aged 9+ and a lovely birthday gift.

Great little product and will certainly get another for when my grandson is up again. Easy, fun and educational 🤖

The p green gear is too small and doesn't mess properly with the white gear on the drive motor. Also the tolarences of the gears in the gear box is terrible rentering the whole project pointless. The rest of the kit I under is wouldn't matter as you take it part over and over makeomg the different robots but the drive gears and fit in the motor housing should been spot on. The kit however is good. as a engineer I loved the idea of this project with my son however it would really make everything pointless for some people.
