This material, you couldn't wear it alone in the winter, but you could wear it under a heavier sweater. Very soft, stretchy material, comfortable, almost a silky feel. We're having an unusually snowy, cold winter so I'm sure I'll end up wearing it (under heavy sweaters) a lot more than I planned!

Got the for my granddaughter and it was exactly what she wanted. I would note that it is very thin and you can see darker colors underneath.

It is fine as a layering piece. Yes, it is slim fit, very. I got a larger size and it was still tight as it is stretchy. I wanted an inexpensive turtleneck to wear around the house but I will only be wearing it under a sweater.

I buy large-12/14 usually, but this turtleneck I bought XL and it fit just as I had hoped. Thanks to all that wrote detailed assessments of quality and size. In black, the fabric indeed stretchy and buttery smooth. The sleeves are 1 1/2 “ too long but the rest fits: close to body comfortably, but not a second skin. I think I could wear a med. as 2nd skin and still be fine as fabric is soft and stretchy. The turtleneck is nice and snug, I do not like saggy neck fit. The fabric is a perfect thickness for a base layer but I still can use it as a stand-alone top. For the price of $6.99 it’s a great buy and have now ordered two more in other colors, even though they cost more than the black. Hopefully the fit will be the same.
