The Black Diamond Speed is a real alpine backpack that is used anywhere in the world. It offers light weight and outstanding performance on the rock, snow and ice. With its revised BD X-rip 210d fabric with UTS coating, this backpack is even more durable and withstands intensive use on the rock season after season. Waist belt, lid pocket and back plate are removable to make the backpack even slimmer and lighter. Its comfort has been enhanced by a revised, moisture-wicking back element. The same applies to the newly designed shoulder straps made of dual-density foam for optimised load distribution in a compact format. The pickpockets for ice devices now have a new specially made metal ice maker holder that improves the safety of the ice equipment. The crampon straps and a stowable rope strap are used to secure the equipment to the outside without snagging. The glove-friendly buckles attached directly to the fabric, while the tried and tested inner cuff with drawstring facilitates access and keeps moisture away.
