Carte Noire, Espresso Classique, Nespresso Compatible Aluminium Capsules, 1 Pack of 60 Coffee Pods, 100% Arabica, Citrus Fruit and Chocolate Notes, Intensity 7/10, Round-Bodied and Well-Balanced

I like these pods because they have a sweet smell/aroma (coffee, nutty, serial, chocolate) which is the most important thing when choosing my coffee. This is mostly present while pouring from the machine but also a bit when drinking it. And I prefer a mellow coffee, which these are. Price is good and the pods are fully compatible. I didn’t find any variability in flavour or quality between pods. I prepare a 110ml cup with this pod (larger lungo), no milk but half a teaspoon of sugar. Amazon’s Brazilian Espresso has a slightly better aroma when pouring but also when drinking, and that’s why I prefer that a bit more. (I didn’t like the Nespresso strong burned/tobacco smell, typical of their pods when pouring out of the machine, and that’s why I looked elsewhere. I was drinking the Nespresso Buenos Aires pods as a compromise, but I prefer the Amazon coffee much more.) I hope this is useful in describing these pods to anyone else who puts significant importance on the smell of the coffee. You won’t be disappointed, but the Amazon Brazilian Espresso option is also worth a try and at a better price.

Great coffee, makes a good latte. It has enough flavour in the pod to press the coffee machine button multiple times to make a larger coffee.

Love the taste of this Carte Noire coffee it is classed 7/13 intensity and this box contains 60x aluminium Nespresso compatible capsules . First time I have tried this blend of coffee and my first impressions are soft on my pallet , a hint of chocolate and not any bitter taste . The price swayed me to buy it with money being a bit tight but it is value for money .

Is very good quality, working very good and they fit well to a Nespresso machine. When there is an offer is really value for money. The taste and aroma met my expectations more than would have thought

Good flavour. Works well in my Nespresso machine. A fraction of the price of the branded ones but still tastes nice. Bonus that they do caffeine free.

I have selected these coffee pods as they’ve always been a good compromise for price and taste. Over the past 6 months, I’ve realized that about 10% of the capsules are defective (ie: when put on my nespresso machine, they don’t brew coffee and only hot water is flowing. Each time I’ve tried to re-position the capsule but to no avail.). That is an issue that I have rarely experienced with other brands
