I had the double-sided adhesive one piece type of grippers before, and whilst they initially worked, once the runners were washed they failed to stick properly. So I purchased these Velcro ones instead. Not only are they thinner and thus less obtrusive, but they make it much easier to adjust the position of the rug if needed because they are in two parts and thus made for detaching and reattaching. They have stopped my runners from moving around and thus any risk of tripping. Follow the instructions and they will work well. The runners have been machine washed 3 rimes, with one part of the Velcro gripper attached, and they have not come unstuck. Just make sure you use a low temperature wash. Also, gently peel the Velcro that is attached to your rug/runner away from the Velcro that is attached to the floor to make sure it does not become unstuck. Highly recommended.

I must admit I wasn't expecting much with these, but they work surprisingly well. Bought for a student's uni room that had laminate flooring to stop a lightweight rug moving about and they worked well all year. Would buy again.

Used for bedside rugs on wooden floor in holiday let flat . Not in a really high traffic area of footwear but have stayed in place with no curl up or sliding. Easy to remove and clean underneath and then replace in situ.neat and tidy and do the job.

I used this to secure some pet fleeces to my table. My rabbits would try & jump on them & their paws & the fleece would slide everywhere & they’d avoid using it. Easy to stick these grippers to the fleece & the table bottom & they secure really well. Comes with simple instructions & it mentions you can pick up the rug & hoover over it etc. My rabbit has never sat under this table before now so it is definite approval from her!
