Get this. Not the Shure SM7b
This is a game changer. Sound quality is better than the Shure because of its built in gain. Great build quality. XLR only so no usb so youโll need an interface which is fine. Easy to use. Just plug and play

Good sound
Iโve gotten good feedback on this microphone. The cheaper stuff I bought on amazon didnโt work out. I have a scarlet setup and it works but still a bit confusing to connect together. But mic itself is clearly high quality.

Solid Microphone
Logitech Blue Sona Is really good mic have not had any problems with it. The sound are really good straight out of the box. All you have to do plug it in with mixer that have 48V phantom power. Mic have pop filter that you don't need any other product other than the audio Mixer. It work really well with the Obs, stream labs and any other recording software. If you looking for really good mic and it looks really good in stream this the mic for you.

Fantastic. Recommend.
Very simple setup. Outstanding quality and design. Using a simple ffine mixer w/phantom power, zero issues out of the box for both windows AND MacOS. I use both. It would be really nice if the provider supplied a 3ft or so XLR cable by default as it's a requirement to use, but minor as most will be purchasing appropriate lengths for their own setup.

Sounds great, looks great, couldn't ask for anymore. It's a cheaper SM7B
Love the sound of this mic. Have been using it daily for Zoom calls and streaming. My voice sounds super clear and deep. Honestly, what sold me on this mic was a blind test of this vs. the iconic Shure SM7B and honestly this one fooled me. It's every bit as good as that mic but $150 less and has a built-in preamp which you'll be very happy you have once you fiddle with the gain a bit. Honestly, Logitech knocked this one out of the park!

Absolutely fantastic!
I love this microphone, there really isn't a whole ton to dislike about it. The sound quality is phenomenal, I often forget whether I'm using the Sona or my MV7X it's THAT good. I am a huge fan of the look of the mic, it might be silly, but it does give the impression of a professional studio microphone. Setup was straightforward for the most part, though it was strange that 48V phantom power is a requirement on a dynamic mic. This mic doesn't need a really beefy preamp in order to drive, as I was able to get away with some cheaper equipment like my Behringer UM2, UMC22, and UMC202, as well as my Maonocaster E2. I have to make a lot of video calls and conferences, as well as doing commentary for events and my own content, and I think the Sona sounds fantastic. I don't really use the presence setting and I use the mic completely stock and it still manages to sound great, really what's setting this mic up for failure is the extremely high price. This is quite standard of Logitech (And Blue), but it's really disappointing to see such a good mic being ruined by such a high price tag, if you don't mind the objectively bad value, you can't go wrong with this mic.

Does exactly what is should and does it really well
Simple design without all the 'pretty' frills like colors and tassels. The sound heard is true and clear. I am enjoying this microphone a lot

Perfect for podcast.
Podcast microphones usually cover our faces and don't look that good either. However, this microphone seems fantastic and has excellent build quality and sound output. Overall, it's incredible."

It's a good competition against sm7b, not for my voice
I bought this opposed to getting the sm7b for vocals, but returned it as it was not suitable to my voice. My voice is on the higher end of male voices and this mic make is pretty muddy without using the low cut filter on it.. The super cardioid pattern works well to isolate your voice but the pop filter doesn't help much in reducing muddiness

Sound is fine, BUT...
So I was very curious about that mic so I bought it and I 've compared the Sonva vs my Shure SM58 with a Fethead. I tried many types. With and without the fethead, filters and all and the results shocked me a little. My SM58 sounds brighter and clearer than the Sona mic based on raw, unedited audio. Then I tried the filters and all, put a big foam on the SM58 to reduce the plosives as much as I could and well..The Sona is fine, but the SM58 for the price tag beats it easily. It,s not a bad mic. Not at all, but for the price tag, you can easily find something better for a cheaper price. A good mic on sale would be a safe bet.
