Este adaptador (USBC a USBA) ofreció la misma velocidad de lectura y escritura que el conector USBC original de la memoria flash a la que se lo instalé. Se conectó a la PC en ambos casos a entradas USB (A y C ) 3.1 generación 1 y se obtuvo lecturas de 800 mb/s y escritura de 750 mb/s. Al conectarlos (Kingston traveler 3.2 Gen 2) + este adaptador a una entrada USBA convencional , la velocidad se redujo a 400 mb/s. Este adaptador permite seguir disfrutando de buena velocidad con dispositivos USBC flash) conectados a una PC con entradas USB C /USB A 3.1 Gen 1/y 3.2 Gen 2 respectivamente.
