The problem is that my son hits himself a lot and with so much movement they start to slide down or up and I have to readjust them, but I still recommend them. Not designed for petite kids. The tightest setting isn’t tight enough for my kid. She can slip it right off.

Might be hit and miss for parents. My kid absolutely hated them and wouldn’t sleep, so I had to return.

Need to put these on sort of loose and make sure your child wears long sleeves to prevent any sort of pressure impressions otherwise it works great stops thumb sucking

THIS WORKS! We tried the thumb guards and they didn’t work —our thumb sucker could easily slip them off his hand and we weren’t willing to make it so tight that it cut off blood flow. But this… It doesn’t have to be super tight and works like a charm. He hates it so much, that alone is keeping him from putting his thumb in his mouth. Worth every penny. He’s gotten so much better about the habit in just a week of using this than with any other device or tactic. Just an FYI, we bought two, one for each arm, even though he’s partial to his right. If he has the other accessible, he will switch to it. And we also had to put a long sleeve shirt on over them to keep him from taking them off.
