Quality loom, attractive weave, completely manual aside from the turntable.
Skill level: Smarter than what you're working with.This very worthy product does what it's supposed to do and does it well. It's ...fun to use. Very well constructed of high quality plastic, the pins don't break no matter how I stress them. Dropping the loom approximately 2' to the floor caused no damage. It's turntable moves smoothly to keep you moving along and once you get about 10 rows in, you have product to tug on and eventually can see how your work is coming along.Up for a challenge? This could be it. The instructions are pretty clear but seem to miss a few key steps for people who lack experience with such hobbies. It took time and a range of emotions to learn to properly use the loom, but I got it down and gained momentum.At this time all I can speak to is the double-knit weave which is very dense and attractive. Getting an end product that I would leave the house in or give to someone I care for is something I aspire to, but for now my rotating loom is back in it's box and was as easy to disassemble as assemble.If you are looking for a lightweight but strong high-quality knitting loom that rotates, this is it!If you arrived here via your search for "knitting machine", make no mistake. Great loom
I love this loom and how it stitches. It works yarn beautifully. What I would change is I would offer the option of every other peg a diff color. If possible I would make the peg heads a little deeper to hold the yarn. These are not big issues just little conveniences. Using it is fun and if you have a nice table to set it on, extremely comfortable to use. Setting it on your lap is fine but I find my shoulders fatigue after a while so I set it down then come back to it. All in all I love it and I marked every other of my pegs with a sharpie!
