Trust the process
This is definitely a trust the process paint. I used the Vasari mineral primer and applied the paint with a deck brush in an X pattern. I found the paint to work best the more I mixed it with water. I did not do an entire second coat I just touched up spots as I went if I didn’t like the look as it dried. Very pleased with how it turned out this is the granite color.

Unique and Modern Look – Great Lime Plaster Paint
This lime plaster paint really adds a modern and artistic touch to the space. The texture is very different from regular paint — it has a soft, matte, almost velvety finish that gives the wall a rich, handcrafted feel. You have to apply it with a brush, not a roller, and there’s no specific direction or rule to follow, which I actually enjoyed. As you can see in the picture, I painted one wall, and it stands out beautifully from the others. It’s not a uniform color — more of a textured, natural variation that makes the wall look like a statement piece. Highly recommend for anyone looking to elevate their space with a unique finish.

Wonderful Modern Granted Grey #25
I love this color. I was looking for a modern yet textured color for my hallway. This was the best choice. Because I am not a professional painter, I would say the only thing I didn’t like is I needed to buy much more paint because it’s very thick. The coverage is fantastic! It dries very quick with very little smell. Yes it is easy to apply. Absolutely worth the cost. For me the look and color is spot on.

Easy Lime Plaster and Paint
Love this lime paint. It gives a nice soft and slightly variegated color. The finish is irregular and resembles a plaster or rough cement texture. It was easy to apply as brush strokes just add to the desired effect. The gold gray was a bit darker than I expected, but it is great. Nice and warm. It did cover a lot better than I had expected, so have half the paint left over.

Great depending on color.
I originally wanted to do this wall in white/off white. After painting 2 coats with this paint in pearl white, absolutely nothing showed. It looked the same as the primer before I began. I went back and got this paint again in the golden gray tone. It is definitely a bit more beige than gray, but the color turned out so much better! You can see the texture, especially after the second coat. I mixed 2 parts the lime wash with 1 part water. It was thin and messy, but went on best this way. I did a thorough coat the first time and then a quick, random coat the second time. It gave a soft, marbled effect.

Granite
We used the buffing on with a sponge technique vs the cross hatch with a brush cloud to cloud. You can find Vasari videos on YouTube. It's a lot more time consuming than regular paint, bit, wow, the finish is beautiful. Now, the photo, even the photo I'm submitting, look different than in person. The color turned a cool blue toned deep grey vs a smokey charcoal grey, like we hoped for. Clean up was incredibly easy but would suggest using disposable latex gloves (I got irritated at one point, removed the gloves, and it stained my nails, plus dried out my hands so much my cuticles cracked). Also, I did find using it for so long would slightly irritate my throat, so a mask might be a good idea. Overall, it's a large room we painted, and this was our second gallon purchased. If I decide on this old world style finish for another room, I would 100% return to Vasari for it.

Fossil #15-beautiful color!!
I would so recommend!!!! I did this in my primary bedroom and it is such a soft look to it. A couple things I noticed while using it. Every tutorial I saw said to do 2 coats and that the second coat would really put it together. I did 1 coat and thought it looked really good but thought I had to do 2 so I did. And it looked not so good. I reprimed and started over and love it. So just basically see a lot of different options of application cause you don’t have to do 2 layers. Also if you’re doing it on walls and not stone or brick you need to use mineral primer. But it’s decently expensive so if your walls are dark, use regular primer to lighten them then use mineral primer on the top instead of doing all the layers with mineral primer! The color is gorgeous!!! Drying time was super quick, I did it in the morning and had the room set back up that night. It was very easy to apply!

Just a solid color- don’t work for me.
I wanted to love this product. I ordered a 5 gallon bucket in the color Marcona. It arrived in a timely fashion but the consistency was so thick, I stirred everything up , still seemed a little thick to me like a plaster. I applied the first coat of color and when it dried it just looked like a solid color of paint… I knew to trust the process so I applied a second coat (I was using a hard bristle brush in the cloud technique). Still nothing, looked like a soiled color of paint. I tried to thin the consistency (more like a milk consistency) down a little with water tried another coat and still nothing. I spent so much money on a 5 gallon bucket thinking I would do a couple of rooms. I am now spending more money just to go reprime the wall and try something else.
