The GiggleBellies Musical Adventures Volume #2

I discovered the GiggleBellies on YouTube several months ago and my daughter and I fell in love with them instantly. Sure, they are a bit creepy or weird looking at first, but they really grew on us. We have all three dvds and will definitely purchase the 4th when released. I love all the songs on every volume. They are very catchy and I occasionally find myself singing them when no one else is around :) We started out with volume 1 and the lullaby video and they were perfect for my 12-18 month old. We just received volume 2 and have watched it several times. It's definitely a bit more advanced and interactive and perfect for my 18 month old. Our favorites from volume 2 are "head, shoulders, knees, and toes", "if you're happy and you know it" and "busy bumble bee". My little one gleefully says "ahooga!" along with the GiggleBellies and the rainbow song is perfect because she has just started learning her colors. The GiggleBellies series is super high quality from start to finish and more than worth the ticket price. If you are on the fence, I say go for it!

This is by far the best children's dvd I have ever seen. My twin 2 year old granddaughters just love it and very quickly have learned some of the words and the actions I have made up to the songs. My grandson, also 2 paid very close attention and it is the first time I have seen him really pay attention to a "learning" dvd. It a short time he also was learning the words. The colors are fabulous. It really holds their attention. It makes learning fun. Can't say enough good things. I am buying 3 more sets of the dvd's for them to have at their homes and for a friend's grandchildren.

We first came across the Gigglebellies when my son was 4months old. We found it by accident on youtube and we were hooked! It's the only thing that would calm him when he was crying or sad. We got him volume 1 for christmas last year, and we ordered this one (volume 2) for christmas this year. I was a little afraid as I am in Cyprus this year and wasn't sure how long it would take to come or in what condition it would turn up, but I needn't have worried. It only took 9days to arrive and was in perfect condition! Now its all wrapped up under the tree! I'm not the kind of mother who allows her child to watch television as I'm a firm believer in actually taking the time to play with your children However, I also believe that watching a very minimal amount each day while you spend 20minutes in the kitchen will not harm them and the colourful animations and great songs of the Gigglebellies are perfect for him to spend that time and great for me to sing along to while I'm in the kitchen!! Can't wait for more Gigglebellies!

We were so careful about not letting my son watch any tv until 2 but he is exposed to it now because of his friends when he visits them. So we gave in and bought this for him; we figured it had to be better than tv. I don't know how educational this stuff is. But it sure is fun to watch. And it's got great animation and catchy tunes that I find myself humming these songs at work. My son loves the video and it comes in really handy when my son wakes up early on a weekend and my husband and I are still trying to sleep and don't want to get up and play with him just yet.

Okay, so its REALLY annoying the fifth, sixth or seventieth time you have to sit through it, BUT... The kids love it. My daughter's vocabulary has improved (may not be a direct cause) and she's better with color identification. Her dad and I are burned out... So this is going to be saved for long car trips where she can watch it with headphones on. LOL! Or nights with a babysitter... The entire household has memorized the songs.

I originally was hearing a sound distortion on this DVD in the voice tracks. The GiggleBellies folks were awesome and corresponded with me to get more information, and they replaced the DVD and send an envelope to reclaim the old one. After a lot of comparative examination, I found that the original played perfectly on my laptop, and had the greatest distortion on my LG television that had ClearVoice II technology (voice enhancement). I am guessing the distortion on the other two televisions may have been an "unemphasized" feature of those TV's to enhance voices...but I found I could turn off the ClearVoice II and the music and voice tracks were true and fun. I really appreciated the excellent service and care the GiggleBellies folks took to address my issue and look forward to their next Volumes! This 2nd Vol also features the endless loop of play...which is handy for some parents-- though I enjoy my baby "announcing" with her slight whimper that the last song is playing and I choose to restart it for her or to give her something different for variety.

This video is so great, my son loves it so much! I first started him on the Gigglebellies videos on youtube when he was about 6 months old and he loved them so much, I decided I just had to buy the DVD. It is an awesome way to get a (now) one year old to sit still for like five minutes, or to get him to calm down of an evening and get ready for sleep. Some of the songs are "remixes" (sort of) of the old songs I used to sing as a kid - like Down By the Bay and Head Shoulders Knees and Toes - and some are new like the Space Team song and the Colors of the Rainbow. I would recommend this video to anyone and everyone, especially parents with very young children, even babies. :)

GBs have yet again brought out a fantastic beautiful educational adventure for pre-schoolers. My son loves the first one and the second he sings and dances the whole way through and always asks for it to be on again. From America to the UK it works out about £14 this is a bargain as in return I receive 20 mins in the day where I can actually get things done! the dvd works in UK players too and has extra content like colouring pages and Mp3s of all the songs that are easily transferred to a cd or Mp3 player leaving little one happy when you're not around a tv. The GBs creators know exactly how to entertain with their cute characters, beautiful colours and catchy songs. They are also a delight to deal with and will answer any emails you send. When number 3 comes out I'll be first in line. X
