Rejuvaskin Scar Fx Silicone Sheeting, Silicone Tape for Breast Surgical Scars, Lollipop Style, 1 Sheet, Soften, Flatten & Reduce the Appearance of Scars

I have a hypertrophic scar beneath my breast from reconstructive surgery years ago. I'm fair-skinned, and have always been prone to bad scarring. A few years ago, I tried scarfx sheeting under my breast. But it was a brand-new product, and it didn't stay on well. Nonetheless, I did use it for a couple weeks before giving up. It did flatten and fade the scar a bit, but was almost impossible to keep on. Recently, I decided to give scarfx a second shot. I am thrilled to see the company has really improved its product. It now sticks beautifully, but is not impossible to handle (sticking to itself and everything in sight, as the original product did). It covers my scar well, and is held in place nicely by my bra. I'm wearing a bra 24/7 these days just to get maximum performance from scarfx. I'll write an update in a few weeks, but I'm confident it's going to be a positive one (hence the 5 stars). If it's not, I'll remove and rewrite this review. IMPORTANT: When I first got scarfx, I peeled the product away from the paper, and tried to stick it to my breast. It quickly fell off, and seemed to have no sticking power. After a bunch of fiddling around, I finally realized that I needed to peel away a second layer of clear backing--it was what protected the sticky side of the silicone. After I did that and applied the product, it stayed on well.

This item was not longer enough to fit across the bottom of my scar. The stickiness was geat. The stretch was none I had to tape the whole thing down in order for it to stay. I would not recommend this product.

What I like about this silicone sheeting is more effective than gels or ointments. I've been using this for more than 2 weeks and excited to see more results.

Comfortable and effective. For scars, this is actually a pretty good buy. 👍

Caused allergic reaction

I have mixed feeling about this product. The silicone sheeting just didn't work for me. It got filthy and no matter how much I waked it off, it always felt like I was putting dirty silicone on my skin. The shape simply didn't work for me, so I cut the loop and diagonal part off of the bottom anchor part and I trimmed the anchor part to be shorter, which fit my scar better. I had to sleep in my bra each night to keep this in place (the tape is pretty useless at night). As for the gel, it was just a much easier thing to deal with. I applied it a few times a day and hoped for the best. You'll never really know if this product is working or not, so I trusted what my doctor told me to do. I eventually threw out the sheets, which was financially painful, but i hated usesing them. They stopped sticking and it was an annoying ordeal using it. I couldn't get them to stay in place and I just gave up trying to wash the dark grossness that stuck to the back. I did repurchase the gel and I still use it. But order the sheets if you're into it.

Its been 3 weeks since I am using this, the adhesive worked very well and it seems to be working because my scars lightens! I can't wait to see the final results.. 😍😍

These are awful, I hate to report. I have purchased this brand before and they were great. But these??? They turned gummy after one use, like they melted. I know how to care for these, as again, I’ve had the long strip and it was great. But these didn’t hold up AT ALL. And for $70….. extremely dissatisfied. Must have changed the “sticky” formula bc these are now trash. Hopefully the company will see this and review there product. One star bc you must at least put one star. I’d say Zero star.
