Nice addition to personal altars/prayer corners.
Very nice addition to my prayer shelf, it really brings it together in my opinion. I opted for this design due to my intention to place it on a bookshelf, it will shield and direct the heat from the candle more than the open air designs. The design is nice, nothing too flashy and it serves its purpose to burn incense to cleanse and enjoy during prayer. The burner came with two screens, I've wrapped the one I'm using in some heavy duty foil, it's slightly bowl shaped so I'm not worried about messes, the incense seems to pool in the middle (where it was placed). It is a nice alternative to the incense sticks of Frankincense and Myrrh that I've been using, the incense resin has a nice subtle smell. So far I am happy with my purchase, the candles and incense are cheap enough to make this worth it if you use incense frequently. This is the first time burning actual incense outside of church for me, I'd recommend this.

Great incense burner
This is a great way to burn incense grains without having to use a charcoal wafer. You get the scented smoke from the former, without all the extra smoke from the latter. My office is not large and I don’t fill it with smoke this way. This would also work well as a compromise in “broad church” parishes or parishes with smaller buildings, where parishioners with respiratory issues are not able to tolerate the volume of smoke from a regular thurible, but where just the presence of incense is still desired. The burner is sturdy and easily adjustable. It is simple in design and looks good. I use beeswax tea lights to “power” it. It is not completely enclosed the way a regular thurible would be, but that is fine for a stationary burner.

Perfect little Resin Burner
Handy little Resin burner me and my family use for our prayer corner. You can adjust the height between the resin and candle so ur able to pick how fast or hot it can burn. I’ve seen some complaints about resin burning too fast so clearly it can be a problem if ur not watching how hot or close it is to the flame. So far I have no complaints with this burner! Works as it should and looks very beautiful in our prayer corner! Money well spent!

It adds solemnity and beauty to a prayer nook and but it’s poorly designed and made
I really wanted this incense burner for our home prayer nook. As soon as it arrived, I had it blessed by a priest. Our prayer time feels more solemn because of the smoke from the incense. Plus it beautifies our prayer nook. But this burner is poorly designed and made. First, when I adjusted the angle of the cross, the red metal plate, which I thought was paint, came off from the cross. I put it back by applying rugby adhesive to it. The other side came off, too, as I turned the cross again and I also had to apply adhesive to it. As I saw in the product pictures, I put a foil to the keep the incense from dripping into the candle below. But the whole burner got so hot and small holes from the creases in the foil dropped liquified incense into candle below. That was messy to clean. Next I had to make a wire frame to replace the slotted plate, which was absorbing almost all of the heat from the candle flame (see my pictures) and then used the aluminum holder from tea candles as a new container for the incense. It worked as seen in the video but the incense would stop evaporating whenever the liquid incense would get too thick. It’s also still messy to clean especially when the soot from the candle flame builds up under the improvised incense holder. I thought of returning this burner but it was blessed after all so I decided to keep it. I’m checking out other products and I ordered an onyx plate as a new burner. If that plate works, I’ll still display the metal burner on top of the prayer nook. I hope the manufacturer will make a wire holder and a sturdy aluminum holder and add these to their product for future buyers.

Not bad. But the wooden nut comes loose.
It works well. And I like the design. But the wooden nut quickly became loose. It would be better if they used a metal one.

Works as intended.
I got the one with the black backplate to keep the heat close to resin, not sure if it makes a difference but it works great for burning Frankincense and Myrrh. Fill it up and let it burn for 30-45 mins then use tweezers to move the resin around for another 30-45 mins of use, DO NOT burn Dragon's Blood in this, I learned the hard way that Dragon's Blood resin turns into a liquid as it heats and it becomes very hard to clean the meshes after but also it drips into the tea candles and makes them go out anyway. I do wish it had included a small steel wire brush to clean the two included meshes after use as I am using a toothpick until I get one to clear the holes, but that is my only complaint, well built.

Big disappointment
I honestly don't normally do reviews but I continue to be more disappointed with this product every time I try to use it. I bought some resin incense while in Egypt this fall. It was originally suggested by the store that I use a charcoal burner, but I didn't like that idea - so I investigated & found your burner. I ordered it, but never received it. When I submitted my concern it was quickly rectified that you would send me another incense burner, but I wouldn't be able to return it for a refund. I suppose I understand if I would have actually recieved the first piece, but the thing is that the piece I did receive has a bent post, is flimsy and I'm always afraid to adjust it for fear it won't seed/catch & be completely useless. Anyway, I was so hopeful as it looked to be a beautiful piece, but it's almost useless, and because I never recieved the original order, I wasnt able to return the second order. Just a big disappointment all the way around.
