I tried using what I had. I ran into two issues: The single power supply and brush wand made it difficult to quickly switch solutions. It turns out you must quickly move between each step to get a good finish. Secondly, the power supply had high startup current which was ruining the finish quality. In frustration I ordered this system and was completely satisfied with every thing it included. They thought of everything. The solutions are great and most importantly it just works every time with no power supply issues etc. I quickly finished my job with no further issues. The playing will resemble the surface it is being played onto. **Q: Can you gold plate titanium?** A: Plating onto titanium is extremely difficult and can not be done with any of our machines or solutions. **Q: It says not recommended for gun parts. Do you sell a system that is recommended for gun parts.** A: We do sell a JewelMaster Plater. It is a bath system on Amazon. It will handle the smaller parts. We do sell a kit called the ProLaB CM but not on amazon.
