hello, this 12 gauge wire is perfect for making designs and shapes. it is pliable enough to shape just about anything within reason. we made a bursting fountain streams wrapped in copper super mini lights. the lights were very flexible and easy to wind around the 12 gauge aluminum wire. the lights looked outstanding at night and during the day, the copper looked very nice. if there are some kinks in the shapes, it was very easy to reshape it with smooth tip needle nose pliers. a grooved tip on the pliers will mar the aluminum surface. 39 feet gives you plenty of wire to make anything you want. we had tons of it left over for other projects in the future. a great product and very fast delivery...

I haven't been able to use it, but it's what the instructions told me to get so I think it probably is very nice. No one hurt for you to go ahead and get it if you don't mind the price. It's not a bad practually. Everything is okay with this product.

This aluminum wire was perfect for what I needed! I used the wire to form the word "bride" for a Wedding Dress hanger that says bride. This wire is very easy to bend and shape. It is fairly firm to hold the shape. It is a shiny silver color and actually looks like silver but cheaper! It was also a great price. I added a drop of beading glue (like super glue) at each place that the wires crossed. It held beautifully and I am very pleased with the result. It is just perfect for crafting! I will be purchasing more of this wire.

I used this wire to make a bride hanger and it worked great. I have never made one of these before and was surprised how easy it was. The only reason I am not giving it a 5 star rating is because it came a little kinked and those pieces were nearly impossible to get straight again. Overall, great wire for crafts.

The color of the wire is silver which is the color of raw aluminum. It is pretty soft (not tempered) making it easy to form. The diameter measured 0.078" which is a nominal 12 ga.(0.080"). Some reviewers had indicated receiving a much thinner wire and that had me a little concerned, but my order came in as described. I am cutting this wire into small sections and use it to replace the plastic "zip ties" I had previously bought and used to hold a plastic fence. The zip ties are snapping and breaking although I had used the black colored version which is supposed to be for outdoor use. I know the aluminum will not break. Note: I was tempted to buy 2 rolls not sure if 39 feet might be enough. Realizing that I was going to be charged 2 shipping & handling fees I decided against buying 2 in a single shipment. I thought that if I ran short, I will then buy another roll. The seller would have charged TWO shipping & handling fees for 2 pieces of the same item bought and shipped at the same time, go figure. There was no incentive to buy 2 rolls.

I made myself some cats ears for my Dungeons and Dragons character. The wire was perfect for holding the ears up and also allowed me to bend and shape them how I wanted. Worked great!

The wire itself is fine and is good quality BUT it is mislabeled as the wrong size. I even confirmed it with my wire gauge measuring tool. I ordered 12gauge wire but the wire actually measures as a 14 gauge. I will return and probably order a different brand because I’m guessing I’ll get the same problem if I order this brand again. This is a shame because I have ordered other Bead Smith products and have been pleased.

The wire is nice and flexible, but also keeps its shape well. Finally managed to get the right gauge, most others I have ordered have been a much higher gauge than described but this one seems accurate. Arrived very quickly and ordered another as soon as it arrived because I was so happy with it
