This plastic food wrap is a game changer! It’s thick enough for my everyday kitchen use—covering leftovers, wrapping sandwiches, and keeping fruit fresh—but what really impressed me is how sturdy it feels. I’ve used wraps before that tear the second you pull them, but not this one. It holds up beautifully, even when I’m wrapping pans and bigger trays. The built-in slide cutter is the best part—it makes it so easy to get a clean cut every time (no more wrestling with jagged edges or wasted wrap!). Honestly, it feels like something you’d find in a commercial kitchen, but it’s perfect for home too. Durable, reliable, and super convenient. Definitely recommend!

If you read other reviews, one of the points repeatedly made was how damaged the item was upon arrival. And I was hoping that I would avoid that issue by ordering other items together in a larger package (not knowing specific reasons as to why others were damaged). Oh, well, I suppose that the idea would never work if the Amazon delivery guys treat the packages roughly to begin with for whatever reason while delivering. Thankfully, the rest of the item wasn't damaged, so I was able to set it up and try it without any problem. At the moment, I haven't used duct tape or anything yet, like some reviewers did, but it certainly crossed my mind whenever the top rises a little upon pulling up the plastic. I may tape the top down - for instance, when the weight of the roll of plastic wrap gets lighter in the future. We will see. Now, the product itself. So far, the plastic wrap itself is quite promising in that it is quite sticky and even stretchy. However, I've also noticed that it sticks to the plastic cutter guide at each cut, which is slightly annoying because it is now something to pay attention to. Before, I used something similar that I had purchased from one of the big wholesalers that requires a membership (and now I don't), and it was perfect - right amount of stickiness, which meant that it was sticky enough to stay on any items that you want to wrap with it but also didn't stick to the cutter guide. And it lasted for a long time. We will see how this product performs in the long run because this will also last for a long time. And, lastly, I should've kept the cutter from the old one. I certainly did cross my mind then, but also I thought I would buy one that has a cutter. As you may know, it makes a night and day difference when you have a cutter. It turns out that not all of plastic wrap products have one. And that is the main reason why I bought it. And, so far, the cutter seems to cut fine.

I wanted to find the same kind of plastic wrap like stores use on meat and bakery products - something softer and stickier than typical store-bought plastic wrap. This wrap is exactly what I was looking for. Perhaps the best way I can describe it is that it is the sort of wrap that crumples up into a small soft ball and stays that way when you are throwing it away - I bet you know the feeling. If you want a big roll of regular store-bought Saran wrap, this is not it. But if you want what the stores themselves use to wrap the things they are selling, yes, this is what you want. It is trickier to handle than typical store-bought plastic wraps - if you try to carry a sheet from one counter to another you'll be frustrated. But if you lay it out flat across the counter as you unroll it and let the countertop help you keep it flat and unstuck to itself, you'll be fine. It seals great and, in my opinion, is plenty strong including when it is pulled (gently) over sharp edges. Perhaps that is one other difference between this wrap and typical store-bought wraps: you don't need to pull this tight to get a seal - this wrap relies on sticking to itself instead, and it does a wonderful job of that.

Very strong, easy to use and price

Prepare to tape the box closed because they weren't smart enough to put some kind of a notch in the box to keep the lid closed when you pull the plastic wrap out. I would think food service people would find this extremely annoying if you know what I mean. "Oh, sorry I can't wrap this sandwich again because the box came apart on me and the roll came out.". As every food service person has ever wanted this to happen and then continued to purchase the same product over and over again . I'll tell you what, I think I'm going to do. I'm going to rip out four or five yards of this crap, see if I can wrap anything with it. Anything like some beef jerky. That's usually pretty sharp and pretty durable stuff. It's commonly what I use "food service" plastic wrap for. Just make sure you prepare for this to be the thinnest plastic wrap you've ever used. Take a note from Sam's club manufacturer, it's not just the length that denotes this as food service grade plastic wrap. It's the thickness of it. I don't know what your thickness was but it's got to be less than a half a mil maybe a quarter mil thickness I bet you it's a quarter mil or less hold on I can measure that for you let's go see... It measures exactly .02 mm thick. If a human hair is .1mm, then all of you with Google can calculate how much thinner this is than a human hair. This stuff is crap it isn't worth a dime I'm returning it I'm going to go ahead and use some of it first though just to prove it and I'll write a secondary review, but expect this to be returned. Same junk as all the rest of the junk on Amazon. I could have ordered this from AliExpress and gotten exactly what I wanted for a quarter of the price which is where I'm going to go get it. Sorry Bezos, your store Amazon has literally become the clearing House for garbage nobody wants or at least nobody really wants. All you've got is an advantage is you've suckered people in to paying money every year for something called prime, you've taken away 2-day shipping from most of those items, tried to combine some of them to get us to take a longer shipping date with ooh a credit for music that you're not going to let us keep on our machines. I'm so done with Amazon cancel my prime membership I don't have to I don't even have to have a membership to AliExpress. I've never had my credit card stolen from AliExpress I've never gotten anything from AliExpress that I didn't expect to be cheap you know I've never gotten food service plastic wrap from them that's 10 times thinner than a human hair. I'm done ranting just this coming back sorry have a nice day.
