I got this after seeing lots of good reviews on how will it and can control a astrophotography rigg remotely using Wi-Fi remotely. Using a laptop or tablet. It came with Windows 11 pro. To set it up you will need a mouse and key board and monitor which most people should have. Then its install and up date windows and install your software.

It works, powerful, in a good small factor, but a fun is noisy and it makes a high pitch annoying sound after like 3-4 days

I have been using this product for two weeks and it is an excellent product that attached to the back of my monitor via vesa easily. I'm running Ubuntu 25.10 with zero problems. If you're a Ubuntu devotee like myself, I strongly recommend this mini PC. I coupled it with a Z-Edge 27" monitor and I couldn't be happier. It's just as good -- if not better -- than my Lenovo X1 Carbon laptop! There. I said it. Order yours today. The keyboard I chose was a Cherry Stream and the wireless mouse is a Jlab. Everything works swimmingly well.

This mini PC from MeLE arrived protected inside a well-thought-out box that was wrapped with a clear heat-shrink plastic. Popping open the flap on the box greets you with a quick start guide and a warning leaflet about how hot the PC can get when under heavy loads. Under the documentation you’ll see the mini PC itself and it’s very easy to pop that out. The final section of the box under the PC has a UK wall-plug, a VESA mounting plate and the required screws for attaching it. The included power adapter is strange in the fact that it’s a basic 220V to 12V adapter, but it’s terminated with a USB-C connector on the end. It’s not a PD compliant adapter, so it won’t adjust its output to match the attached device, meaning that plugging it into random devices can potentially damage them. They have put a warning sticker on the end of the cable near the USB-C connector about not using it for any other devices. But I would’ve much preferred them using a proper PD adapter, especially since the PC can take PD power input and it feels odd to skimp on the adapter at this price point. Even a basic barrel jack adapter would’ve been fine, but I will say that being able to power the mini PC from any reasonably powerful PD plug is genuinely awesome for portable use. After unboxing everything, I plugged it into my dual-monitor KVM switch so that it could share my monitors and peripherals from my main PC. It came preloaded with a legit copy of Win11 Pro that has activated and worked just fine for now, so hopefully it’s not a grey market key, but time will tell with that one. On power up it booted right into the Win11 on-boarding and within a few minutes I was greeted with the expected and familiar Windows desktop. I had a poke around to check if the claims of the CPU, RAM and SSD size were accurate and everything checked out with the version I ordered. Following the setup, I've been using this for the majority of my daily computing needs (except for gaming) for nearly a month at this point. I genuinely can’t fault anything about the PC, it’s been rock solid from the start and I haven’t run into any odd quirks or issues at all. I’ve tried a bunch of different peripherals with the PC to test all the ports and Bluetooth connectivity and it had no problems keeping up with everything I've tested it with. The majority of the time the PC is essentially silent, though it does have an internal fan that will go up and down in RPM as needed to keep things cool. When you push the PC up to full load you will absolutely hear the fan spinning, but it’s not that loud, especially if you’ve got it tucked under a desk or behind a monitor etc. So if the small form-factor appeals to you and you’re not worried about having a dedicated GPU, then a mini PC like this Overclock X2 from MeLE is a solid option. The current pricing of £279.99 is quite good value for money based on the specs alone and it’s not overly marked up compared to importing one direct. You are paying around 30 quid extra, but that feels like a fair markup when you’re getting it from Amazon and next day via Prime.
