Purchase this for my husband because he desperately needed a new hood for work and unfortunately it was just a few weeks before Christmas so we were not trying to spend the hundreds of dollars that we have spent in the past on his welding hoods with that being said we didn't have super high hopes being as it's such a low cost once we received it though and my husband took it to work and used it he came back to me and said he was amazed that it works excellent just as good as his $400 welding hood. Also that he liked the design and the color. As far as the lens / viewing window it works great as well and is auto darkening which is nice all in all if you don't have a bunch of money to spend but are in need of a good decent welding hood absolutely make this purchase

Can't find a better value helmet. The auto darkening has no delay and is very comfortable to wear.

I’m not a professional welder, but for everything I’ve done, this helmet has reacted to the arc perfectly every time. I haven’t used it for MIG on aluminum, so I can’t speak for that, but for regular wire welding and stick welding it works absolutely great. For DIY work and general home projects, this helmet is more than enough. Comfortable, responsive, and reliable. Excellent choice for non-professional use.

This helmet looks cool but it definitely has it's flaws. If you have a large head then do not buy this helmet because it does not open far enough. The strap at the back does not have a lock on it either, so very often I have to retighten the strap so the helmet does not fall off. The auto Darkening is instant and way faster than a lot of other helmets i have used in the past. The helmet does not have True Color like it states in the Description but otherwise its a great helmet other than the strap problems.

This helmet is a no brainer buy. It works as described. The auto darkening adjustment is great. It fits great and looks great too. My coworkers ask to borrow my helmet because it works so well versus theirs. It works as well if not better than the more expensive name brand helmets out there for a fraction of the cost. I highly recommend if you do any welding. I would certainly purchase again.

What a great little welding helmet for a great price. My son absolutely loves it. He's taking welding in high school. Wanted to have something at home and this was very affordable and worth every penny

This hood is truly amazing for the money. It’s comfortable, lightweight yet sturdy and has a big clear field of vision. I’m a much better and steadier welder now that I can see clearly. The sensitivity is perfect, and the delay is quick. I love this thing

Worked great

It seems a bit cheap in quality when you get it, but the fit adjustments work nicely and the auto-darken lens is fast on and off, so you can just leave the helmet down the whole time you're welding, no problem. Good price, good welding mask/helmet. Would recommend.

I'm not sure if it's only my item's defect, but the respond time is slow that I can see the initial welding light.
