I have used this quite a few times now and can say I have packed it on many occasions with heavy and bulky shopping items. It's really easy to assemble and pack down. Once packed down it does not take up a lot of space. I have saved loads on shopping bags which has most likely paid for this trolly already. I wheel it into the shop load it with items and simply wheel it to my car job done. (Juat like to add after I've paid for my items) No returning trollies or heating heavy bags across to the back end of a car park. The trolly isn't massive about the same as having a life bag so doing a weekly shop for a family you will need a trolley. I have a family of four and shop at least 3 to 4 times a week so this is sufficient for my needs. I have at the moment an undiagnosed medical condition and this affects my shoulders, neck, back and hips. This is a game changer for me as I didn't want to get a bulky shopping trolly that does not pack down. I would definatley recommend.
