The base is VERY heavy, which means it isn't going to wobble and the pole sections, electrical cords, etc. were well made, along with the materials used. The head light is at the top of a flexible material which bends and moves easily and stays where I put it. I love the various adjustments to the depth of light as well as several colors which are very easy on the eyes.
