[JUNGSAEMMOOL OFFICIAL] Colorpiece Blush Pure-layering (Blending Peony)

It’s a must for me. I think the negative reviews could be due to trying to use this product as something it’s not. It’s not meant to be a highly pigmented lavender blush on its own. However, as a tool for blending and brightening, it’s unmatched. I am very fair, and I have had many issues over the years with ensuring my blush application isn’t patchy. This solves the issue. It is beautiful, the pigmentation is perfect, and it is so finely milled in a way that sits so nicely on the skin even when ample product is applied. It looks beautiful and subtle by itself. But it’s really amazing as a tool for makeup artists or individuals who are looking for a product to allow blush application to look natural and seamless. It is small, but I use it often and I still have a lot left. It’s a very very good product.

An otherwise superior line of cosmetics, I wish I could give this blush 5 stars. Instead, it gets 1. Not for the product itself, as with nearly all other JSM, this has a silky finish and deserves 5 stars. However, because it arrived shattered, the two shades mixed. Not only did it arrive broken, but the compact is nearly impossible to open. I am not tossing or returning though. Poured the broken pieces into a small jar and will grind them up to be a loose powder. What I didn't get out of the compact, I will carefully use, but won't reorder.

I’m a huge fan of Jungsaemmool products, but unfortunately, this one didn’t quite meet my expectations. The duo of colors is a nice touch, allowing you to use them solo or mix them for both base and accent, which offers a lot of versatility. I also appreciate that there’s minimal fallout during application. The pigmentation is fantastic, but if you don’t carefully control the amount you apply, it can get a little clumpy, and the color may appear too intense. Personally, I wish there was a bit more of the lighter shade for easier blending. It would have made the application process smoother. That said, I believe professional makeup artists or those who like bold looks would really enjoy this product. It’s just not as beginner-friendly for me.

Jung Saem Mool delivers yet again, a top notch beauty product for women whose beauty motto is "less is more". Don't be fooled by the cool/warm tone myth in color makeup. This lavender gives my fair Asian skin a delicate and sheer veil of color and a youthful glow. Fair to medium fair skin tone would probably be best for this blush, as it may look pasty on darker skin tones. I used the Jung Saem Mool blush brush, but you can also use a puff and pat it in your cheeks and eyes for a soft whisp of color.

Not Korean, but love their skin products and many cosmetics. I've been a follower of Jungsaemmool's Youtube tutorials for several years, and am so happy to be able to purchase her products with ease through Amazon! The blush I ordered is the lavender, and it's a gorgeous split-pan of very light and medium lavender shades. Very finely milled pressed powder, it's suitable for my fair skin with cool undertones as a blush topper over a pink blush. I also use the darker shade as a lovely light wash of eyeshadow, tying the look together. I hope Amazon decides to carry a wider variety of products from this artist. A+++
