What do the numbers and letters mean?

The number defines the level or depth in the shade (aka the lightness/darkness of a shade) and is designated with 1 being black, 10 being the lightest blonde. The letters directly following the number identify the tone or tones. The first letter is the dominant tone, and the second letter is the supporting tone. How many boxes should be used for shoulder length hair?

Can you combine a copper tone with a brown?

if my hair is a red to begin with how do i know what it will be after i dye it??? doesnt show any redheads before

As a brand representative for IGK, I will be happy to answer your question! If your current hair color is lighter than Sunset Lover, you should achieve results consistent with the packaging. If your hair is currently darker, the color kits will be capable of lightening the hair up to two levels, but only on virgin hair. If there is previous color on your hair, it will not be capable of lightening that. I hope this is helpful!

The product is not worth the money

Since the day I colored my hair every time I wash it the color is coming out with the water for approximately a month, and the color just faded like that even tho it supposed to be dark. I don’t recommend it all 👎🏻

IGK really thought of everything with this kit. It comes with the color, developer, barrier gel, stain remover, and a great mask. Most importantly? No harsh, stinging ammonia smell! The instructions were super clear, and the formula didn't drip all over my bathroom. The result is a vibrant, "expensive-looking" brown that looks totally natural. I’ll never go back to drugstore brands.
