Yamaha MODX6+ 61-Key Synthesizer Workstation , Black

If you like exploring different sounds, this is an amazing keyboard. It has both AWE2 wavetable synthesis and FM synthesis based on the Yamaha DX7 synth from the 1980, but upgraded to new features. The only thing disappointing about the synth is the keyboard. It would have been nice to have had a weighted, piano-style keybed. For those accustomed to playing organs and synths, however, the keybed is fine. The MODX7 is essentially a stripped-down version of the flagship Montage synthesizer. However, the MODX is a far better value for many musicians, especially amateurs like me. For those who are beginners, the MODX is far too complex. There are less expensive digital pianos that would be ideal for beginning and intermediate pianists.

Well I own a Montage 61 key and decided to get this to be my second keyboard. The sound is great. The weight is the main reason I got this. Yamaha keyboards are easy to use. It’s build quality of mostly plastic but that’s what make it so portable.

I have played keyboards for around 50 years in bands but in recent years as more of just a hobby. Started playing with a group again and most of the music has much more modern sounds so I decided to upgrade to a synthesizer this time. Have been very pleased with the thousands of sounds this keyboard has and its features which I am still learning. The group gives it a thumbs up as well. At 35 pounds, it is a lot lighter than its predecessor of more than 70 pounds so moving it around is a lot easier too.

If you’re a professional singer/songwriter or producer. You know what you’re getting into! No better product on the market; variety of real instruments etc. Simply the best of the best, makes Roland and other brands look like toys.

Arrived in perfect condition, excellent keyboard, feels nice to play, overall sounds are great too

Brought for church and live recordings and I can't tell you what all this thing does but it's amazing to have!! It does everything even used with a computer or tablet or laptop to install sounds and you name it!!

Me sorprendió, un keyboard muy intuitivo y creativo

las funciones del teclado y sobre todo lo que puedes hacer, al ver todo lo que puedes realizar me quede asombrado de todas las opciones que tienes para poder modificar un solo sonido , y luego que puedas mezclar hasta 16 capas de sonidos en uno mismo té abre totalmente el panorama para crear sonidos a tu parecer.
