Review of Audiologist's Choice AUD-Gel Earmold and Hearing Aid Lubricant 0.5oz Bottle - Lubricant Gel for Ear Plugs, Hearing Aids, Earmolds, and Other Earpieces I ordered this to help keep my ears from itching from hearing aids. It also helps to get them inserted more easily. It works well so far. I could be just imagining it, but I think it even helped the ear domes get seated better and I could hear slightly better too.

Great for 'new' hearing aid users.
I just began wearing RIE hearing aids (BTW, they are fabulous and I did not realize how much sound I was missing) and it was rather annoying (kinda itchy) to have the receiver in my ear canals all day. This drop relieved the irritation with my ear canals so I can easily wear my hearing aids all day. I put a drop in each ear canal and smear the extra on the bowl of my ear where the sport lock rests. You do not need a large drop. A small drop will easily do the job. I appreciate the quality I ingredients used to keep my ear canals clean and healthy.

Good lubricant. Can be messy!
Is kind of oily (well, yeah) but as a lubricant for my hearing aid, works well. Just use what you need. It can get messy.

Makes putting on easier
I find it much easier to seat the earplug all the way into my ears using this. It also because it is more firmly seated, I get less feedback squeaks.

You only need to put a drop in your hand and roll the tip around!
It really helps to slide on the hearing aids easily. Other wise it is HARD to get them in cause when you wear hearing aids you don’t produce wax!
