Love these! I have changed over from a notebook with protective covering for each recipe to 4'by 6' recipe cards in a recipe box. The recipe covers help keep the recipe card clean and free from spills. They fit my 4' by 6' recipe cards perfectly. They are pretty sturdy, not as all flimsy and easy to wipe clean or dry when things get a bit messy! This is my second set and I am very happy with them!

Sleeves are good. Just read description carefully. It says 200 count but you have to order them by groups of 100. One order does not give you 200. Very misleading.

I've ordered these several times - they are thicker and clearer than other types I've gotten, and also fit my 4 x 6 recipe cards far better - thus fitting inside my recipe box better. To slip my recipe cards inside, I use two damp fingers, one on either side of the plastic, and gently move fingers in opposite directions to create an opening, slide the card in, and done! Easy peasy!

There's not a recipe card or a page in my cookbooks that doesn't have my cooking splatters all over it. Yes, I'm a splatterer. If I'm lucky, it's just flour. There's times I've spilled butter, oil, milk and a few other things so the ingredients on the card are not as clear as they once were all those years ago. Thick Card Stock . While I was looking as the old sad and splattered cards, I had an epiphany......recipe card protectors. I bought these card protectors and they have saved my new recipe cards many times. The only adjustment I had to make was to take about 1/4th of an inch off the end to make it fit in my new recipe box. I used a paper cutter to keep the edges straight and uniform (make sure you cut the open end and not the closed end). The cards still fit all the way inside them so nothing is hanging out. I am very pleased with these card protectors. All I have to do is wipe off my splatters and return the clean recipe card back to the box.
