Tried these to switch it up instead of using Clay bars. And they absolutely did not disappoint! These Clay pads work great and help speed up the process. Highly recommend!

Although I haven’t used it yet it is obviously going to be a huge time saver. It fits my DA polisher perfectly and is well made. The surface is appropriate for clay cleaning and will also save ny shoulder from days of pain. It appears to be smooth and will provide the just the right amount of contact. The cost is acceptable in consideration of time saved.

I got the SPTA Clay Pad with backing hand grip because I thought it would make claying easier. I was wrong. I find it awkward to use. I prefer my clay mitt and clay towel. They both conform much easier to the paint and body lines. Both the pad and backing plate are a little too stiff. I'm giving it 4 starts because the quality of both are good and it's ok for large areas. Also, since the backing plate/holder is hook and loop, it's great for polishing pads. Sometimes when machine polishing, it comes in handy for tight spots.

Works well. Be sure to store it in a cool area so it doesnt melt. Backing strap makes it easy to clay by hand. Ive used it a few times already. It does cause micro marring on soft paint. Ive tried soap, last touch, & onr. I also used regular clay to compare same results. Just glade the clay over, no pressure. Id say its more of a medium clay. Id still carry a heavy clay or apply the pad to a polisher on a low speed to cut through contamination

I purchased the small 3 inch certain of this clay pad. I use this clay pad in conjunction with my clay towel. This allows me to get around some of the odd contours of my vehicle as well as the tighter/smaller areas. I like to use this on my windows as well. I clay my car often to keep contaminants of my paint so my after wash toppers stay on longer and protect my paint. If you haven't clayed your vehicle in a long time, you may want to use a regular clay bar to get the deeper contaminants and fallout off your paint before using a substitute clay media like a clay towel, mitt or pad. These type of clay media substitutes work well if you've been keeping up with your paint and not going long periods between clay sessions. You can use them on each panel right after using your car soap or in my case, rinseless wash, without adding much more time or effort into your normal detail routine. This pad is of good quality. It appears to be a light to light-medium clay material that's not overly aggressive, yet gets to surface contaminants off relatively easily. I put my middle & ring fingers inside the top sleeve allowing my index & pinky to rest on the outer edges. This makes for a comfortable hand position when working on my panels. The top finger sleeve is adjustable with velcro to get a perfect fit to your fingers. If your working on vehicle panels & can't get a comfortable hand orientation with your fingers inside the top sleeve with your fingers facing down against the pad, you can curl your fingers and press the back of your fingers against the pad. This will let you have your wrist in different positions that may be more comfortable on different areas of your vehicle. I highly recommend this clay pad.

Claying is very important for Max Shine, I have been using Hand Claying, but this Takes it to the Next Level.

Used it 1st time today, it works great with car wash and water, it got rid of sap and other contaminants on vehicle.
