I have issues with pilonidal cysts and have had multiple surgeries. I got this as an alternative to sitting straight down in a chair to take pressure off of my bum. So far, I really like it - but I will say, the assembly is a two person job. I did it on my own and it was a struggle. Does come with everything you need. I weigh 270 and have had no issues with the item supporting my weight. I feel very stable. This item makes your hips tilt forward so your pressure is shifted more to the groin area, or you can lean forward onto a surface to shift the weight more on the knees. I also have back issues and have had no pain from using this chair. I chose the mid-height option when assembling (5 ft. 6 in is my height). Padding is fairly thick. I do also have knee issues from a history of a fractured knee, and also have not experienced knee pain. I think ultimately you need to mix up your time between this and standing, but if you need something to relieve pressure on the bum, this is a good option.

I'd gone back and forth on getting a kneeling chair (specifically for the office job, but also for home) for a while and then I bit the bullet. I wish I had done it sooner. not only is it way more comfortable for long periods of time than a normal chair, it also takes up less space and works with ANY desk (major plus.) I have had severe back pain since I was a teenager (medical issues) and this has reduced the chronic pain by a significant amount. it really does force you you have better posture, and the position you sit in takes the pressure off the base of your spine and distributes it way more evenly. cons of this particular chair: • build quality. this chair is pretty cheaply made. the adjuster isn't lubed right and it's almost impossible to turn the knob without tearing up your hands, even after shooting it with WD-40. you have to tighten the screws holding the cushion on all the time. (no joke, every day.) if you just want to try a kneeling chair, this is a good option, but if you're looking to keep one long term - get something else. • height. I'm short, so this one is perfect for me - but if you're over... maybe 5'6, 5'7, this is too short for you. I'm 5 even, as reference. • seat cushion. the padding sucks, not gonna lie. after 8 hours? your butt is sore. otherwise, it's great. I have no intention of replacing it until it falls apart, since this is just my work chair. for home, I did get a nicer one.

I have been wanting one of these chairs for a while now! I couldn’t be happier with my purchase (: I have an office type job that requires me to be sitting at a desk for 8+ hours a day. Sitting in a regular office chair just killed my lower back. I would find myself slouching, and trying to sit in different positions to help my back. This chair doesn’t let you slouch, and I find that sitting in it helps alleviate some of that discomfort. I will say, sitting in this chair for long periods of time might be a little uncomfortable on the shins. If you are ordering this chair to replace your office chair...I’d hold on the office chair to be able to switch back and forth. Pros and Cons- Pros- • Chair is very easy to assemble • Helps with my back pain • 8/10 comfortability • Adjustable Cons- • Sitting for LONG periods of time will cause a little bit of shin discomfort Totally worth the money, and I will be recommending to friends and family!

I've never owned a kneeling chair and I figured I'd give it a try. It forces me to maintain good posture and that's what I wanted out of it. It's well constructed too. The cushions and frame are both sturdy. It wasn't too difficult to put together either, though the instructions weren't as clear as they could have been. This kneeling chair does have some flaws, but I can look past them because of how well this chair works for my needs. First, my shins get sore after an hour or two of use. I don't think this could be avoided with any kneeling chair (the cushion on this one is actually fantastic). But, I view this more as a benefit than a flaw; it forces me to stand up and walk around for a few minutes every so often. I like this because it's unhealthy to sit for long periods of time anyway. It also gives me a chance to take small breaks from work. The rolling wheels will not turn if the seat is set at the lowest adjustment. What I mean by this is that, if I roll the chair around, the wheels will sometimes just slide sideways across my hardwood floor rather than turning to the proper angle to let them roll. However, they will turn correctly if I raise the seat (which makes it too high for my preference). This is because of the angle at which they come out of the frame. As you raise the seat, the angle of the frame changes and the wheels become more upright. There are some subtle chips in the paint on some of the pieces, but I only noticed this while figuring out which piece was which during assembly. It's not noticeable just from looking at the chair being assembled at my desk. The seat could be easier to adjust. It's a little wheel on the bar under the seat that you have to turn clockwise to adjust the seat up and counterclockwise to adjust the seat down. I wish this was made clear with markings on the actual piece that you have to turn because I spent way to long turning it the wrong way and wondering why it was so difficult to turn. Overall, I like this chair. It does what I wanted and it's sturdy. I would try a different one before purchasing this one again, though.

This is my second kneeling chair. The first was a wood construction with 2 relatively thin pads or cushions. I have 2 computers in my office and it was tedious to move the wooden chair (no wheels) to both workstations multiple times a day so I decided to get a 2nd kneeling chair. I have chronic low back pain with sciatica so a regular office chair does not work for me and the kneeling chairs work very well for me. I am 5' 11" and 218lbs. The good: Very easy to assemble; very thick seat and kneeling pads (4"); comfortable; adjustable in height and space between seat and kneeling pad (in other words, room to stick your legs through); and locking wheels. The bad: Nothing really bad here, however they could have put a few more holes in the frame for additional adjustability. Directions are ok for assembly, but horrible for telling you how to adjust for your body type, and how to use the adjustable support assembly. I had to take apart and reassemble a few times to get it to fit me. Not rocket science, but I had to find out what I needed to do on youtube. The ugly: Nothing ugly, might be nice to have a little more adjustability in the seat to take out some of the steep angle, but with the adjustability support rod I was able to get the seat position comfortable enough. As with all kneeling chairs it takes some getting used to as your weight is mostly supported by your shins. For me I have been using kneeling chairs for 6 or 7 years so there was no adjustment time for me, but if you are new to kneeling chairs you will need to stick with it until your body (shin) adapts. In summary, this is a step up from my wooden kneeling chair. Adjustability and thick pads go a long way to being able to sit upon it for an entire office day. I can sit pain free most of the day. Chronic back pain sufferers get use to a tolerable level of pain and kneeling chairs help. Wheels make positioning easy. Great chair, good price. When this wears out I will buy another.

I wanted to like this chair so bad. I have suffered with chronic neck and back pain for over half my life. I work a desk job with very long hours. I recently had a spinal fusion in my cervical spine as well. The details provided for this chair indicate that it is ergonomic, improves posture, and relieves pain and stress. they say "we've got your back (and your knees, shins, and your behind!". Got them indeed! Using this chair for a short amount of time each time, i have suffered nothing but extreme pain in my entire back and increased pain in my neck. My knees and shins have become bruised as well. The cushion provided for the butt and knees is quite thick. It is not skimpy. But the pressure on the knees and shins is a lot. I used for only an hour or so at a time to try to get used to it over the last couple of weeks with no relief. My pain while trying this chair has been worse than ever. After stopping use, i feel significantly better. I tried this chair at every adjustment available. None of them worked for me. Occasionally my legs and feet would go numb because of the positioning and pressure on the knees/shins. and from the angle that the seat comes up underneath me, it felt as if my spine was being jammed upward. The pain and discomfort i felt was not "muscle weakness" or "fatigue" it was legitimate pain. Again, this was basically felt from head to toe. I had increased headaches and neck pain as well. This was all relieved by very little except discontinuing use. This is not to say that this chair would not work for someone else, every body is different, but it does not work for me and my body. For reference, i am 5 foot 3 and approx 180 lbs. As far as assembly goes, the chair was relatively easy to assemble on my own. it is difficult to adjust after fully put together though, because you have to partially disassemble it in order to adjust. its a pain by yourself, but still doable. It took me under an hour to assemble on my own and is much quicker to disassemble. If you do choose to try this chair, please use caution. Please be aware of your bodys limits and have realistic expectations. This chair will not work miracles. I highly recommend shopping for desk chairs in person whenever that is an option.

It arrived today and I just finished putting it together. In fact I am using it as I type this. Brand new so this is just my initial reaction, but I must say I love it. Setup was relatively straightforward and all screws fit in slots very easily. I have had other products (metal tables, etc) where the tolerance is not as good and if you have four slots in a piece, for example, one of the four is not lined up exactly right and it is difficult to fit the screw in. Not so with this - everything fit perfectly. The only trick is figuring out which of the three sets of holes on the bottom of the main bar you want to use. If you use the bottom holes the seat will be higher, If you use the middle holes it will be a little lower and if you use the top holes a little lower still. I am 6'3" so I used the bottom holes and the height is perfect. My feet (toes) rest on the floor but in a comfortable manner. Shorter people may have their feet off the ground. The vinyl knee rest can get a bit sweaty if you are wearing shorts and it is hot, but presumably it will be used by most people in a cool indoor setting. If sweat is an issue you may want to put a towel on the knee pad. EDIT - Above is what I initially posted. After I tried using it for a little while I have changed my mind and am reducing my five star review to two star. For tall people like me, the issue of feet hitting the floor is a huge problem. I have to bend my feet backwards and it quickly becomes uncomfortable. Also after prolonged use (say an hour) your shins get sore. It felt good at first but is not good for prolonged use. I went back to a conventional chair and it is much better.

I was very undecided if this was the way to go, but after always having back pain, which has now been accentuated from WFH, I knew I needed to do something other than working from my dining room chair. I'm a sloucher and wanted something that would obligate me to have proper posture. This mostly does. I do sometimes arch my back more than I should, but I'm more aware and not slouching. It does take a lot of getting used to on the shins. I've actually added a pillow under my knees to provide additional cushioning and that seems to help. I'm hoping my shins will become less sensitive to this the longer I use it. Putting together was very easy. It says you need a screwdriver, but it actually came with allen wrenches. So no additional supplies needed. However, there is this one part where you get to decide between 3 different holes, which I assume is height based, and because of severaI factors, I couldn't figure out which made the most sense for me. Perhaps this will be obvious to you, but not to me. I emailed them and the website and paperwork that comes with it makes it sounds like they are great communicators, but I've still never received an answer to my question. The setting I selected seems fine, but I'm curious if another would be better. There is a feature to raise and lower seat. I do find this a little bit hard to turn, but you would want it to be that way, so it doesn't fall. I just use an oven mitt with rubber grip and then it doesn't hurt my hand as much. For some one with bigger and stronger hands, this wouldn't even be an issue. Which I may as well mention, I'm 5'2". And us shorties know that office seats are not kind to us, but this defn. accommodates my height extremely well and don't feel like any ergonomic sacrifices are made. It's easy to get in and out, and an unexpected benefit is, when I'm lazy or my knees get stiff, you can sit regular style on the seat actually. It puts me a little too low for my arms to be at 90 degrees without having to adjust the bar each time, but that's what pillows are for. I already notice that I'm not slouching as much, shoulder stay back. I'm really pleased with this product and glad I didn't wait much longer to get, now that WFH is neverending. Stay safe.

I don't write many reviews but I feel compelled to with this product because it is brilliant! I have recently spent 4 months trying to manage agonising sciatic pain right down one thigh, calf and leg, with aching, numbness, pins and needles and all the horrible symptoms one gets caused by a pro-lapsed S1/L5 disc and the cocktail of painkillers one uses to eleviate it.I had not sat down for over 3 months due to the sciatic pain I spent most of my time on the floor on my front propping myself up with 2 pillows under my chest. I worked on my laptop there and ate uncomfortably constantly getting indigestion and feeling uncomfortable. In desperation I tried buying a special foam cushion and then a a prop-up leaning stool both of which did not help me as they were probably for people with less severe sciatica. Then, after a bit of research I came across this kneeling chair. Although luckily I am finally improving now this kneeling chair took me back up to the land of the living! It was easily assembled (I managed to do it laying down and rolling around!) and I as soon as it was put together I was finally able to sit at a table like everyone else and be normal again and eat proper meals! I am 5ft 11in and it fits perfectly for me but is adjustable not only in the assembly but also with an adjustment bar when it is in all in place. I started off with just a few minutes a day - for breakfast or a coffee at a table and have since been able to go to eat a whole meal even in restaurants. The foam is thick and very spongyso it is possible to perch for a good couple of hours if you want comfortably - you can easily adjust how you sit to adjust how much weight you put on your knees versus your behind depending on how bad your sciatica is. It has been a great buy - hopefully I wont need it much once I am better but it is a life saver for someone like me who was fed up laying on the floor! It doesn't fold up but is not too heavy and can easily be transported on a car back seat or in a car boot. The only slightly negative point is that the coverings are vinyl - leather would make it perfect but slightly sweaty knees is a very small price to pay for the wonderful relief that this product has given me! If you have sciatica and cannot sit down I recommend buying one of these!! Thank you whoever makes it!

I wanted to write a thorough review of this, because I was skeptical about it. I have tried various types of seating arrangements in the past, but with the Covid-19 thing, I am sitting much more for work in a day than I ever was before, and I have had noticeable tingling in my legs after awhile with conventional chairs. I am good at assembling things and I found this very easy. Well laid out and uncomplicated. Took me about 30 minutes. Just note that there are THREE sizes of screws. I first used the middle holes (for height) but ended up redoing it using the lowest setting. I sit at a conventional height desk but use a keyboard tray, so I type at the level of a well designed computer desk. The lowest chair setting is still higher than a conventional chair but not so high that it is uncomfortable or odd, and still well within the realm of good carpal tunnel prevention guidelines. I'm 5'6", 155 pounds as a point of reference for this review. With those measures, I have not had any concern about the sturdiness of the chair, but maybe worth noting that the weakest link might be the wheels, although personally I have had no problems with them at all. My first online meeting with this chair was 2.5 hours long. I've since had another long video-conference meeting. A good thing about this chair is that once I started getting uncomfortable in the standard sitting position I could easy shift my legs so that one or the other was extended, or a foot was propped up on the knee rest section. This was much easier for me to do than with a conventional chair, on which I'd tried sitting cross legged or one leg up to make a shift. I think the cushion design is well balanced between being firm but also soft, which to me speaks to good quality materials. Other chairs I've seen were too thin and it made a big difference over the long term comfort, it seems. I can't, of course, speak to if the cushion will wear out over time. I was concerned about my back wanting to slouch without a backrest, but in fact, with the seat angled the way it is, it more or less naturally keeps my back straight, which I was pleasantly surprised with. I have always been a bit of a sloucher and have never done well with backless chairs (such as benches), so this worked for me. I will not say this is a perfect solution to sitting for long periods, only because the only real perfect solution is to NOT SIT FOR LONG PERIODS! When that is not an option because of work settings, I definitely would recommend and buy this chair again. The fact that I wanted to mention it in the middle of my meeting is, to me, a case in point. I hope you find this review helpful. I feel this chair is worth it, well designed, and definitely good for my health overall. It does not substitute taking breaks and stretches, but it's, in my opinion, an excellent solution for an increasingly sitting culture we live in. I am considering getting one for my son and replacing his conventional chair, which he uses an awful lot for his own online life.

Ma femme souffrant de maux de dos, elle voulait un siège ergonomique pour ses loisirs créatifs. J'avoue que ce concept m'a d'abord laissé perplexe, mais à l'utilisation il s'avère très confortable. On a ainsi le dos bien droit et ma femme n'a plus mal au dos après une utilisation de quelques heures contrairement à une chaise classique qui finissait par la faire souffrir. La molette de réglage permet de régler l'angle entre l'assise et le repose jambe, cela permet ainsi de se régler par rapport à la hauteur de la table. Les mousses sont vraiment épaisses et reprennent leur forme après utilisation (pas de sensation d'écrasement de la mousse). La qualité des coutures est également très correcte. Les roues peuvent être bloquées si vous le souhaitez. Seul hic, elles laissent de légères traces noires sur le parquet (qui se nettoie, rassurez-vous) Le montage est plutôt simple, je vous ai mis la notice en photo au cas où.
