Removes odor. Nice scent. But a little greasy.

I've had a long-time love-hate relationship with deodorant since my early tweens. I used Dove's deodorant until I hit puberty and developed a bad reaction, leaving me with extreme hyperpigmentation (my underarms were so black, I got so self-conscious that I rarely lifted my arms). I quickly made a switch to Secret and loved it for years. I loved how long the smell lasted, but my biggest issue was that getting off my skin it (inside and out of the shower) was tough. I tried Native, hoping the cleaner ingredients would last and be more accessible to clean off. I quickly discovered I was wrong (I highly recommend NOT getting the coconut vanilla one 🥲 as soon as I made the slightest sweat, the vanilla disappeared, and the coconut STANK). It makes for a better candle. ~Two weeks before buying this product, I decided to quit traditional deodorant until God led me to something that worked and didn't leave me with those (or worse) negative side effects. I found this product on Consumer Reports, ranking as #1. It took me a bit, but when I finally decided to get it, I couldn't say how much I loved it! I got the citrus smell (honestly, it smells more like fresh celery 😂, but in the best way). It lasts for ~ about 24 hours. I recommend keeping one bottle in your purse/b.bag/office/etc. I'm unsure how it'd put up with a long, vigorous day (or trip from the gym). I love that they come in three packs; it is worth the money. I'm excited to try the lavender one next! 😊

The spray is fairly light-scented. I apply a stick deodorant in the morning, but I keep a bottle of this spray to use if I need a 'touch up' during the day. My body chemistry is fairly mild, yet even so I would not use this as a a primary deodorant, as it just does not have a lengthy 'staying-power.' The biggest issue I had with this item is that spray nozzle on two of the three bottles did not work. I even soaked the nozzles in really hot water a few times (which usually fixes this problem), but that did not work. I keep a few of these in different places (car, workbag, workout bag), but I can only use one-at-a-time because of the spray nozzle issue. Summary: Based on my experience, this is a good product for mid-day applications, but spray bottles are unreliable. Given that two of the three bottles did not work, I probably will just find a different backup deodorant spray.
