**Q: I ordered these for my shower, but can’t figure out how to get them to stick. Help!**
A: Find the place you want the suction cups.
Make sure that the hook part is up and not down.
Once positioned, pull the hook part down and it will stick.  Hope this helps

**Q: Would these work outside to hold up very light weight solar string lights ?**
A: I don’t think these would work for what you are needing them for. They work well but I use them to hold wreaths on my fro t door and they fall after a few weeks.

Great for a light lift. The suction is great and they stay put on windows, very easy to place. "Ultra heavy duty" may be a bit of a stretch though, the plastic hook could be a bit sturdier but it's good for anything I'd reasonably hang in my window. I think you'd break the plastic hook before breaking the suction with downward weight. The nature of the locking mechanism means outward (z-axis) tension would be a bad idea and risk unlocking the suction cup.
