Peachtree Woodworking Supply Phenolic Zero Clearance Insert compatible

Bought this to replace the Craftsman table saw insert (p/n 27509.00), table saw (p/n 152.221240). Dimensions were 13 3/8" x 3 3/4". The replacement color was white vs the red pictured, but the description did say the colors may vary. The only thing that I would note is that in the original insert there was a screw to hold the plate down/in place. In this replacement, the leveling allen screws are in about the same location as the (retaining) screw was, so you cannot simply drill an extra hole to add that retainer screw. I may try to fashion something, but the piece weighs enough that I don't think it is necessary. The leveling screws worked very well. It was quickly shipped - I was able to install it in less than 30 minutes. Overall, I was VERY pleased to find this replacement and impressed with the fit & quality. I'm considering to purchase a second and cut it wide enough for dado blade.

Fits like a glove! Takes about a minute to fine tune the adjustment screws and remove all play and another couple to fine tune the level with the table top. Phenolic inserts are the only way to go on any table saw, I even have them on my portable. They’re smooth, perfectly flat, strong, stable, and long lasting. Unlike cheaper MDF or even polymer. Zero clearance not only makes cleaner cuts but also makes the saw safer by not allowing small pieces to fall into the blade opening. I bought 3, 1 for straight 90 cuts only, 1 for beveling, and 1 for my dado blade setup. Highly recommended this product.

Fit me into saw very well. Not to long, short, wide narrow, thin or thick. I liked the fact I can adjust the insert in the x, y, and z planes for a perfect fit. Also the relief cut on the bottom allowed me to make the plunge cut with the standard 10" blade I rip with. On thing they need to fix is the alen wrench they send for the z adjustments. It's too small. It measures a tad under 3mm. A 1/8 wrench is what it took. I will buy again.

Nice replacement… no flex, micro adjustment screws, fits like a glove… Make sure you order the right one and you’ll be more than satisfied.

I have delta contractor saw. This insert fit the opening perfectly. It has adjustment screws in the side and the end to eliminate any slopy in those directions. It also has four screws to level the flat surface of the insert with the table saw surface. When I started to cut the opening in the insert and the insert was level with the table saw top my saw blade was touching the insert and would not rotate because it got stuck in the insert material. What I did was use the four leveling screws to raise the insert so the saw blade could spin freely. That made it easy to raise the blade and cut the slot in the insert for the blade.

Glad to have finally found a good insert for my Delta 34-444. It's worth picking up a few of these! Zero-clearance, dado plates, etc.. are all quick to make. Good snug fit once adjusted. You can easily make these yourself, but it's hard to beat the quality & adjustability of these for the price. I don't love that it's a plastic material rather than wood, because it heats up your blade. No biggie - Rise up slowly and consider taking a couple stops to cool the blade if you're making one for a large dado stack.

Fitted my 32 year old Grizzly saw. Had to modified it to fit the splitter.

Used this on an older Craftsman Delta table saw. Worked great to replace the original metal insert plate that vibrated badly, clanked and made noise. Even with allen screw adjustments fixed the plate still vibrated. This plastic insert works great doesn't vibrate around like the old metal insert and was easy to mount the MICROJIG GRR-RIPPER SP-2TK Mj Splitter Steelpro Tk. This was a great setup to eliminate the old Style riving knife affixed to top of saw table. Both of these really tuned my table saw and helped to true the blade angle with reference to the fence, enabling better straight cuts creating square dimensional lumber.

Didn’t fit my DWE-7492 perfectly — the insert is slightly shorter than the opening, and the leveling screws don’t align with the support spots on the table. Also, there’s no locking or hold-down mechanism to keep it in place, which I must’ve missed when choosing. I ended up modifying it a bit, and now it works great. Overall, it’s a solid, well-made product — just not quite an “out-of-the-box” fit.
